Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy

So I’m at E3 for the first time and actually ran into Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy in a hallway in between show floors (The linked image is proof). I got to ask them a few questions and they answered what they could. Also Luke Smith is a really nice and passionate guy and really doesn’t deserve all the hate he gets. Mark Noseworthy admittedly seemed kinda scripted in the answers he was giving me, but that’s to be expected. Some noteable things they said include: They didn’t seem to be planning to remaster and release the entirety of Destiny 1, and they are experimenting with the moon and how bringing D1 locations back updated to meet all the new events of D2. I play on pc and asked about features like /join and /invite being brought from the battle.net version to steam. Like smith seemed like he hadn’t thought of that before and said they’d look into how that’d work. Mark Noseworthy said when they move to steam they’ll solely use steam ecosystem features. Also in the coliseum conference (which I think can be watched somewhere, it’s only 30 minutes) they said console was getting a performance update of better resolution and frame rate at least at some point, and since they have the pc version upgrading console quality should be easy as they already have the infrastructure setup. And they said it’s not out of the question for destiny to be brought to the epic games store as well as any other launchers and the current ones, still no exclusives. But being honest I’m pretty excited for shadowkeep and the future, call me a shill or whatever but the game looks good and is fun. Edit: included an image for proof, Mark Noseworthy is on the left, Luke Smith is on the Right and I’m in the middle. Yes I know I need a haircut Edit 2: Also pretty cool this is trending, my first trending post on here. And yeah my friends took the picture while I was in the middle of saying something so it looks kinda weird.

 • Nice write up about your interaction with them, and the questions asked and answers given. All of this seems very constructive instead of the usual "never satisfied" take on Bungie/Destiny. They definitely seem to be heading in the right direction and I'm excited for the future of this game.
