Please bring back something similar to the super / subclass customization from Destiny 1, but make it better.
No more of this top tree / bottom tree stuff. It's limiting.
Let us mix and match the abilities and supers we want to use.
Thank you.

Agreed

2 RepliesBungie should combine the Skills from all 3 paths and let us Mix & Match like in D1
-
1 ReplyI hear you on this, but that gets stale really fast cause then let’s be honest, you’ll use 1 build on each subclass. Right now you change it up according to the situation. The D1 system was more flawed, it needs a massive rework in general.
-
Been asking that since day 1
-
Thank you for posting this!!! I loved the customization in D1 way better!!!!!!
-
Still hate they havent brought that back yet, always trying to restrict the way we play the game
-
81 RepliesD1s system had the illusion of choice. But the data showed there was only 1-2 builds per subclass being used anyways.
-
More than anything I would like to new powers/skills/abilities introduced. I'm ok with our three core trees, but would now like new bits to mix and match....
-
Just fix the bouncing scatter nades and give me my damn Nothing Manacles. I'll work with the trees just fine...
-
What if they kept this system and also added the old one! Bam, that sounds like some Bada$$ MMO that no one has. We will all be unique with different purposes! 👍🙂
-
Exactly! I would totally use top tree dawnblade if it wasn’t for the perk that lets you shoot mid air. I’m used to aiming to cancel my glide and the perk messes me up.... but... with no option to turn it off... I won’t use it
-
Agreed 😀👍
-
I would want this to be like the D1 system, but a little bit more orginized
-
Yes I want to be a nightstalker with dodge to go invis, smoke bomb to go invis and flawless execution to go invis.

1 ReplyNo, -blam!- off you dumb -blam!-. If you do D1 style again, everyone just picks the same shit and it becomes boring af. Quite -blam!-, there are far more things in destiny that need attention.

2 RepliesAlso why not make it so, our supers element can be changed to whatever we need/want. Imagine well of redience but as void energy or arch energy. Skill threes need to be changed and balanced so there's no real meta and can use whatever they feel good with.
-
Ok in D1 there weren’t trees but really there wasn’t an infinite amount of subclass choices even when you did mix and match. Personally I prefer d2’s skill tree because it gives you a sense of what you are working towards earning through XP and skill points through adventures. Although one thing I would love to change is which tree perk you could work on so there is still and element of choice even if so very small.
-
Alright. Left and right trees it is
-
19 RepliesUgh... Getting real tired of the d1 comparisons. D1 skill tree was utter dogshit. (so is D2s, but that's not my point) Why shoot for a D, when we should be shooting for an A?
-
Illusion of choice at its finest. Oh yeah go ahead and tell me it was an actual choice when just the same it's an actual choice between red or blue icing on my cupcake. We could also just get more perk trees but with perk combinations that don't actually work together. Maybe they have a particular spike in one mechanic that others wouldn't. It would be the same thing as D1 at that point regardless. After all that's what people want more than something actually functional and better. Unsurprising coming from the player base that screamed over bounties and even complain about flying to destinations all day. You know there's this complaint I see a lot of exotics not feeling exotic. It just so happens that a lot of exotic armor fleshes out a subclass's tree. Maybe and just maybe, they could solve two problems at once here. Exotic armor could have more exotic perks to choose from. Maybe three different options, and at least subclass variants. Who am I kidding, it's easier to complain than to actually think.

Yes please.

You know, I was thinking about this last night. They could have one triangle and as we unlock skills, we could move them to an open spot on the triangle. Then, just mix and match whatever we want on the triangle. This would add a lot of flexibility to the game and open up a whole new dimension.

That's a great idea! People need to stop worrying about stuff breaking the game and just have fun. I mean, PvP is and has been broken for a long time so no real loss there. And in PvE everyone just goes for the strongest load out anyway so it's not like people care about challenge. If they did they'd be running raids with a sword, a grenade launcher and a scout rile to really challenge themselves.

2 RepliesEdited by llSpAxXll: 6/12/2019 7:53:19 AMEven tho I agree with you and would *love* to See This return with the current supers? It would break the game again. Can you imagine hammers exploding with embers and creating 6 solar flares around one area? Titans would become hell raisers of Destiny. A hunter void runner would Just role with perk from top-tree, becomes invisble and See through walls without having to shoot someone in the head? A warlock Nova warp with devour? Or bloom perk? It would be absolutly unstoppable! Not to mention the mini nova bomb/grenade with devour? Sorry bruh, bungie never ever going to let that happen.
