The Menageire is how I’ve always wanted raids to be.

I know that some will disagree. I’ve just never liked trial and error synchronized swimming mechanics. It’s tedious, and the opposite of fun for me. I want games to be fun more than anything else. I would literally raid every week if they were actually fun to me. What I think they should do is make an alternative version of raids that are set up like The Menagerie. With matchmaking. Players could do either this version or the the full version each week, but not both. This alternative version would offer a single piece of raid gear a week. This way, rewards are based on level of participation, effort, and challenge and people aren’t locked out of a piece of the lore and experience for simply not wanting to deal with convoluted mechanics. This would eliminate a point of division within the community, which would be a great thing considered how divisive it is.
