Increase punishment for comp quitters
I don’t know what the current punishment is for quitting a comp game and leaving your team at a severe disadvantage - because I don’t quit - but whatever it is should be astronomically increased. Since they’re basically making their whole team of 4 take a loss, why don’t they just take the equivalent of 4 stacked losses on their own glory score? Leave the poor other people like myself that are left in the slaughter alone and give the punishment to the jerks that ditch after two minutes

Why should I be punished for having teammates quit before I do? Why should I stay in a match that won't be cut short (mercy rule)? So I can just waste everyone's time with me getting gangbanged by the enemy team? No thanks.

How about a holographic icon that hovers over the head of the quitter for a couple of hours? It would have to be after a few quits within a time limit otherwise it would apply to players who got kicked for other reasons.

2 RepliesShut up. If you're going in solo you don't get to control what your teammates do. All your "punishments " will do is decrease the playerbase in Competitive even further.

I agree. Allow a short grace period to allow those that disconnect to rejoin, but increase punishment for quitters. I know this won't be a very popular opinion since a lot of players haven't got incredible Internet, but to those players that KNOW they're lagging I think it's unfair for you to be playing comp in general. Unfair advantage for you, unfair disadvantage for opponents.

Now this reminds me of my stupid teammates quitting in comp, luckily I reported all of them for leaving and one of them got banned.
