I cannot even get passed the initial "press enter to play". I get a buffalo error message and it says to restart the battle.net application. I have done this countless times, and even fully reinstalled the battle.net app. I have also scanned and repaired destiny 2 multiple times. NO luck.

Edited by Troo: 6/7/2019 6:23:28 PMI'm getting the buffalo error now too. I downloaded the latest D2 patch yesterday and played for a few hours and now I'm getting the error when I try to log in. As far as I know, D2 nor battlenet did any updates in that time. I'm running on 2mb/s download so I'm not going to bother with the uninstall/reinstall because by the time I would have this done, the problem will have been solved/cleared up and I'd be 3 days older. ETA: Could this possibly have anything to do with the current Authentication Server errors Blizzard is having?

20 RepliesHello, and thank you for your report. Here are some steps you can take to potentially solve the issue: - Making sure you are always launching Destiny 2 from the Battle.net application - Running both Destiny 2 and Battle.net as administrator - Deleting these cache / settings directories and then immediately running Scan and Repair:
o %PROGRAMDATA%\Battle.net o %APPDATA%\Battle.net o %LOCALAPPDATA%\Battle.net o %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
- Manually closing all Blizzard and Bungie apps in Task Manager, then restarting - Resetting your Battle.net password
