Our worst fears are Bungie's stubbornness and inability to listen to the community, especially when you refuse to remove stuff that is ruining the game and then ask us to open our wallets wider.

I don't do anything outside of what I want to do in the game and am sitting in 100+ cores. I really don't understand what all the fuss is about.

It doesn't have anything to do difficulty. It has to do with grind. Grind is annoying. I grind at work. I grind at home. Not gonna also grind for cores for "fun". It literally adds nothing except giving an artificial sense of progression, without allowing for build diversity and such in endgame. It is very costly to have different high end sets of armor for different playstyles since it costs so much to infuse. Power level is not a measure of difficulty, but of time investment.

I love this game. I play every week. I just get tired of looking at my butt ugly armor that doesn't match anything, especially when this change was only implemented in forsaken and was something literally nobody asked for. I want to have a high gear set for impact and one for super energy. I'd like to run a high recovery one too. Why do you even defend it? Do you just like arguing with people? What is positive out of it? How does it even add anything of value or fun to the game? To me enhancement cores and ward of dawn being crappy are really my only two gripes with the game. Outside of that I am loving it. There was no problem before enhancement cores. It was a non issue. Why "fix" something that isn't a problem in the first place?

To me it makes the game more interesting. I have to consider what I want before upgrading something. I play like 8 to 10 hours per week, upgraded the guns and armor that are meaningful to me, and have 100-ish enhancement cores. Honestly do not understand when people tell this is game breaking. One thing is you not agreeing with the system, another is to consider this to make the game unplayable.

I don't think it makes the game unplayable or that it breaks the game. That would be dramatic. It is just annoying. I get it being more "meaningful". I am just a big fan of build experimentation and that starts to get tough with the current system. I have to just pick one set of things and really stick to those. It is kind of like new exotics. Exciting, but I can still only use one, so not really that exciting.

Cores need to either be removed from Infusion, or become more plentiful and reliable like Legendary Shards are.

Then they wouldnt serve a purpose. They taper scaling or people would zerg to max. It adds meaningful choice to what armor you scale up

But you get plenty Cores now. New bounties are also fast and easy. You can farm nine cores, 2 from Spider, from his bounties and also dismantle has higher chance now. How many more ppl need.
