Checked them out last night...very spooky future stuff, talking about “The Shadow of Earth” slaying certain characters. And it differs for each piece of armor and each class. Very interesting.

In essence it's Calus' fan fiction. He's making up at what he's like.

While I'm more than happy to kill the Queen, I refuse to kill Mithrax or Variks. In fact, if I wasn't stuck in Bungie's own story, I'd be going for the emperor.

2 RepliesI think... The way we're supposed to interpret this is that the writer of these lore tabs isn't familiar with the lore of the sol system. I remember hearing awhile back that Psions can predict the future, well maybe the writer is a Psion that Calus demanded to write down all the future deeds of his new shadow? But because we're Guardians and paracausal as a result the Psion can't predict us, and is now just writing whatever he sees fit due to his inflated ego

3 RepliesIt seems that the Scribes recounting future events don't quite understand who the people of Sol are. To think that Petra would ally with anyone who killed Mara, or that she herself would kill loyal Awoken is preposterous. Or that the Guardian would kill Cayde out of jealousy. Or that Eris Morn would take up the mantle of Hive Goddess. Or that Zavala plays checkers.

5 RepliesEdited by DarkenedAcolyte: 6/5/2019 11:55:18 AMIsn’t that parts of the Chronicon? Which was written by a Psion Councillor that can see the future? That’s our future, if we choose it. I would love to become the Shadow of Earth. Not that I want to kill the Queen, but because I wanna ally with Mithrax and destroy the other Houses.

It's a Councilor writing down a possible future.
