No more Samurai armor Iron Banner
Bungie I’m sick and tied of it I don’t even want to go back to knight armor either. It’s bad enough the weapons are Reskins but so is the armor.
There’s tons of unique armor styles through the ages so why is the same style every time?

Edited by Goldship: 6/4/2019 9:13:45 PMAccording to the companion app it looks like they’re reusing the year 1 iron banner armor (iron truage if I remember correctly), yes it looks like the ornaments are applicable, and I doubt it’s a mistake Kinda annoying that it’s a reskin but hey, finally some iron banner gear I’m wanting to grind for this time

The other 2 classes look stupid without samurai swords, I would love new sword animations fro all classes too. Out of all 3 classes in destiny for some reason warlocks are the only ones without any sword animations

Edited by Darknorth: 6/4/2019 7:01:13 AMI would like to see Persian armor or armours themed on the old great empires of the Middle East. Babylon, Assyrian, Persian, Mesopotamian and even the Turks. There is more to armor than European or East Asian. Trials of Osiris is proof of that.

2 RepliesEdited by CosmiQ-Toast: 6/4/2019 4:55:12 AMI miss animal themed armor, it would be nice if next season pass has a plethora of animal based armor themed around the wolf (again), tiger, owl, eagle, mantis, spider, scorpion, elephant, bat and they each had their own (full set perks) special perks aside from the regular boring perks already in destiny. Like the scorpion could add poison damage to melees and the bat would make you go invis in shadows and allow you to see through walls(close by) through some sort of sonar/sound graphical effect.

Fiend You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

I like the samurai armor when the do it RIGHT. None of their current Ron Wesley quidditch pads bullshit. First IB armor in destiny was fire.

It seems like we're getting the first IB Samurai armour rehashed with random perks next season. I use the Iron Remembrance set with the New Age Black Armory shader and I think it looks cool but I'd like to see some [b][u][i]new[/i][/u][/b] ninja/samurai type designs.

In the season trailer you could see a warlock clearly wearing some absolute classic D1 Banner armor so something like that is likely inbound. Not new at all more of a greatest hits armor set??? On the bright side that raid video showed a hunter and titan armor set to die for.

Yeah the Asian styles are getting so damn stale. I think we’re stuck with this style until the foreseeable future. Or at least for this next release. I just don’t understand why it all looks pretty similar, like wouldn’t you wanna introduce new styles? And people are tired of it. Why don’t they listen to the people who play their game?
