• For one Yellow content is now pink, blue is darker so is green. This is on the first setting. I know one makes blue yellow, green redish I think? It changes stuff. Not in game colors, only UI elements but I mean you can't really change the in game colors easily for those options.

 • Actually, adding more code to make color blind settings more applicable would be how that gets fixed. However, a handful of others and myself have come to no avail in making changes to that with the dev team (to my knowledge). I use color blind mode because it helps me with determining if an engram is worth running towards or not. However, a nice UI is not going to help me know where my reticle is when I am aiming and cant see the optics crosshair properly. No matter what settings you change the "ADS RETICLE" will never change.

 •
Actually, adding more code
Lemme stop you right there... you expect bungie to add MORE code? That's like adding more spaghetti noodles to an already big helping of spaghetti...

 • It's not as simple as "adding a few lines of code" trust me, everybody wishes it was that easy. However, ADS reticle doesn't change because it isn't a UI element, it's part of the weapon model.

 • I didnt say "a few", however it could literally be taken that way with how simple it would be from a coders perspective. even tho im one of the coders that heavily overthinks the simple things >..<

 • It's not easy lol. It isn't over thinking. It depends on the engine first of all, making what seems like a simple change can be a nightmare. Even in a great environment it can be hard. You make a relatively simple UI change, but oops, it broke the ammo counter, now you gotta find out why, then fix that. You just added code to change the color red on character models to blue! But now when you turn it on, all red parts of the model are simply a missing texture, gotta find that out too. If you're lucky it'll break one thing and that's it, but that's only in a perfect world

 • im, actually aware of that. Painfully aware. but its an addition of codes that literally wouldnt break anything when done correctly. worst case it would just effect more than the desired amount of colors. But im literally not going to rabbit trail into a coding argument because those can often come out as painful as the process often is. The entire point of this post was that "here is an option for the colorblind"
