I just can't bring myself to voluntarily watch anything with Ryan Reynolds in it. Even by today's standards, his "acting" is just terrible. He's literally the same person in every movie. Deadpool, Green Lantern, the dad in Amytiville Horror, Pikachu they're all the same.

I definitely get that complaint. Detective Pikachu is the only thing I know of that I’ve watched with him in it, so it didn’t bug me.

He's the same person because that's what has good at. Just like how Ben Mandelson plays a good villain. And how James Spader plays himself. It feels much more genuine than pretending someone you are not.

i get what you're sayin. i really try to limit how much i actually see his stuff, so his stuff hasn't really gotten old yet.
