Let people runs strikes without matchmaking
i hate being forced to run strikes with other people, more so if that random player is absolutely trash, searching through the vanguard playlist should stay as it is but selecting the strike on a planet should not put you into match making, is absolutely stupid that i have to play with people who rushes ahead skipping all the enemies and force loading me to the end when i want to take my time and enjoy it or when i'm forced to hyper carry someone else, strikes end up more like a chore than an enjoyable system, id get the mats i need for my prophesies through pvp if it wasn't totally aids to play in

Make it optional and that goes for Nightfall strikes too.

For PlayStation version try change time and date I not sure Xbox one and pc work

While I disagree that there is anything wrong with skipping areas in strikes I 100% support your choice to select the strikes outside of the playlist and be able to run solo how you want. It wouldn't take much to add and extra option to the launch menu to add "launch as solo." Would solve a lot of issues. Might I suggest looking at room skipping from different stand point though... sometimes shooting everything in the room can be a bit tedious if its 150th time you've done it. However running through and jumping about while everything is shooting at you and you only have a few HP left to get to the door, it can be quite a fun and intense moment. Especially if grounded or blackout is on and actually add an extra level of tension and difficulty to the tedious nature of repeating strikes. I'm not saying you should enjoy skipping rooms but just showing you some of the reasons why people do it.

If they can “firewall” the infinite Forrest for events they can firewall strikes.

If I have to do a strike it's like the biggest waste of time in my life, because it is horribly easy and unrewarding. So of course I run to the boss as fast as possible and the people i am paired with who are standing still and shooting every single trash mob and even dying multiple times while doing that are super annoying to me.

If your on ps4 just change the date and time manually. Sometimes you have to do it twice.

I feel you bro. Some time I want to chill with my friend or alone too I found an option. Just run nightfall with comfortable modificators. It feels like a little difficult strike. I think Bungie will never give us solo/matchmaking option so try it)
