Can we get one more minor buff to auto rifles?
I tested a “god roll” half dan and another 720 rpm auto rifle in the crucible. I expected the half Dan to do more damage considering it’s a night impact weapon, but it felt like I was shooting marshmallows. My opponents had plenty of time to duck back into cover while I was shooting them. Then when I get hit once by a LH my health is almost half way down....

4 RepliesI main Auto rifles snd so far the best one I used is the Osiris Medly-45. It comes with Firmly planted. It melts because its a literal laser with no recoil and perfect accuracy when usong firmly planted.

1 ReplyIt feels like auto rifles (opinion) are almost in a good spot...almost. They just need a small buff. Bungie, unfortunately, have proven themselves incapable of doing this, by and large. If they do buff auto rifles, they'll be too heavy handed and make them the next "meta" gun.

And luna's howl isnt a good comparison considering how much more powerful it is than other weapons. Also why it's getting a nerf. Not saying autos shouldn't be buffed. Just saying there's situations they don't excel at

I really think Bungie needs to do an in-depth analysis of auto rifles. They've seen our topics and posts about this! They know that these are in serious need of help.

2 RepliesAuto rifle buff? Yes please! I don't understand why nobody seems to care about autos anymore. They desperately need some love in PVP. Or at least, a PVP pinnacle weapon, something along the lines of what we got with Recluse. That would be amazing. Bring back autos into the meta. They're too weak to compete at the moment.

Try Valakadyn with Kill Clip and some range/stability/accuracy mods/perks. Top scorer on the opposing team was so salty they t-bagged me when they finally killed me... after I mowed down half their team from half way across the map with a 720 AR. ;P Or Sweet Business and prefire around corners and down hallways.
