These replies are nonsensical. You play mostly solo. Does that mean you're not still playing a multiplayer game or that you're not still playing in fireteams with random matchmade players? No. So where does everyone taking your stance come up with this false narrative that anyone is asking for single player content? Read the original post because you have completely missed the point and you're arguing against something no one has asked for. What’s funny is that none of us missed the point. We just don’t agree with it. What’s even more funny is that almost every person in favour of this crap has called everyone who isn’t in favour of it “an elitist neckbeard”. Why the hell should you be able to play what will effectively be “easy mode” and get the same loot as those of us who had to subject ourselves to the rigours of trusting others to do their jobs? You want the same content but soloable?? Work your ass off and run it solo. Stop asking for handouts such as easy mode. And if you were being at all honest, that exactly what you’re asking for. Anything that is soloable that won’t get players backs up like Volundr forge did is going to have to be easy mode. Stop being antisocial and just find a damned team. Edit : there is plenty of content out there that doesn’t require a team. Solo queue to get Luna/ recluse....most quests can be soloed....the destiny experience is pretty damned solo friendly as it is.
