and still no reason to purchase Forsaken or the Annual Pass. I can play D1 and still have all the weapons they are "bringing back".
Why would anyone pay to reacquire weapons and gear they already had in the previous game?
Lazy game development pure and simple. Good luck with D3 Bungie, you will need it.

Well its not like the scheming -blam!- told us that the annual pass was a near complete retrospective, is it? I mean, don’t get me wrong, i knew i was going to get screwed somewhat (anytime they want your money up front) but i didn’t know how screwed!

As much as I hate defending Bungie right now... base game Forsaken was great. Drifter dropped it in the shitter and now opulence just flushed it.

D1 weapons and armour should have been carried over to D2. Instead it's repacked and sold to us again as content for AP holders. That's lazy, incompetent, and your argument is baseless and trash. Your welcome.

Why couldn't they have done both and create "new" D2 weapons legendary and exotics. Which is why people saying there lazy. D1 weapons were already established easy right. Then D2 weapons should have been a focal point to creating something new and awesome.

The portion of the community who want D1 weapons are the reason for the old content. The rest of us call Bungie out for being lazy. People STILL want more D1 shit. We tell people that Bungie will just use it as an excuse to do less and charge for it and these morons think that their willingness to pay for the old content should mean that the rest of us should. These people are creating the problem. It's fine to want old gear back but tell Bungie to bring it all back at once and not use it as a substitute for new gear.

The issue is that we're getting D1 gear while existing loot pools stagnate with no updates and no new gear. Of all the vendors on explorable planets in the game, only two of them drop viable equipment; the rest have yet to be updated. We got more unique gear in a single year of D1 than we have in two and a half years of D2.

The only reason some of the community demanded D1 weapons back was because the loot pool in D2 is abysmal. The community merely settled on D1 weapons returning because that was the only chance to get anything close to a decent loot pool. Demands for Bungie to make something other than "reskins" was met with crickets. Either way, LAZY game development.
