constant CABBAGE Error code. TP-link modem/router help

I'm not using wifi, and my PS4 is directly plugged into the modem, but I'm constantly having server issues where enemies don't spawn for me, and my fireteam is unable to kill the enemies that they see until I'm, inevitably, kicked from whatever activity we are doing. The error code instructions says to go into my firewall settings on my modem, but theres nothing regarding a "toolbox" tab or any setting specifically for "games." Nothing is enabled as far as firewall settings go, and as for the Firewall itself, its set to LOW, and I'm tempted to switch it to OFF.

  • As TP Link doesn't make any modem that has WiFi enabled and you specifically said your PS4 is not connected to WiFi; that leads me to believe you are using a TP-LINK Router and not a TP-LINK modem. That would mean your TP-LINK router would then link to another modem which i am guessing is either a Technicolor or Thompson modem.
