Here is some Deep Metal Gear for Susie! *You see Rex Hans you a cloak lined with Deep Metal. The cloak is fine to the touch, and is comfortable and warm. “The cloak will make Susie resistant to all Deep attacks.” Rex also hands you a dagger made of Deep Metal. “The dagger will cut through all Deep attacks and is extremely effective against Deep creatures, like Speaker. Finally, you see Rex hand you a device made of Deep Metal that fits in the palm of your hand. “This device, a Deep Detector, will alert you and Susie when it detects Deep Power, like Speaker, nearby. It will beep faster the closer it is. You can turn it off and on with this button.” Rex gestures to a button on the bottom.* Because you’re a member of The King’s Obsidian, I’ll cut 10% off the price. So, all together, that’ll be $500. Not too bad, right? You can also purchase a Deep Board Screen for $900, which will tell you where the Deep Detector, and thereby Susie, is, and if the Deep Detector detects Deep Power, so you can know where and when Susie is in danger, and can rush to her aid.

Wait, I know! Speaker detectors! Speaker emanates a very distinct aura that can easily be identified. I can make machines that can detect the power of the deep abs detect this aura, then widely distribute them!

I can also make teleportation rings that she could activate to instantly teleport to a marked location, escaping from Speaker. It would cost significantly less, but may not be as effective.

Just a dagger? That won’t help against Speaker! You need a backup plan. I will research The Tyrant’s quantum distortion abilities. I may be able to create an amulet that can distort the world around her, effectively making her invulnerable and untouchable. It would be expensive though.

They supposedly just use the winds to guide their spirits, but I've determined that some air elementals teleport by warping space in a similar way and tunneling through null space. I don't know the exact location of one powerful enough for what you're thinking, though.

That could work...Also Rex, could I ask you a favour? Could you outfit Susie with some low-profile, but powerful weapons and under-armor? I want to make sure she's well protected, but at the same time I don't want to distress the customers

I don't personally make weapons for a living like Rex, I'm more of an enchanter, although I have some artifacts and oddities. All kinds of stuff though. Space-time drills, souls of every shape and size, philosopher's stones, potions that change your species, you name it, there's a good chance I've got it. I'm going to start a shop soon, I'm just gathering shop names. Sadly that post got only one reply.
