Catalyst drop rate
So with the clan perk catalyst seeker saying increase drop rate of catalyst when playing with clan mates, how much of an increase is it really, because we've been through 6 strikes and a nightfall with no sign of a catalyst for anyone.

2 RepliesEdited by OkieDokie_Yoshi: 5/29/2019 4:40:17 AMOur clan unlocked that weeks ago and as I played on my bf’s account, he got the colony catalyst and SUROS catalyst in the same day. This was within a few days of unlocking Level 5. This was by playing crucible btw.

Yeah 6 is really not enough. You need to go into the 100s for all of them

Funny how RNG works.. So far I have all the catalysts except Rat King, Outbreak, Whisper, Mida and anything tied to a raid. Thing is most I got running solo strikes and using the Vanguard booster. Just RNG man.

It took me about 1,000 strikes to get the Wardcliff Coil Catalyst.

33 RepliesCatalysts only come in nightfalls, they don't come in regular strikes, and only when defeating the final enemy.

Catalyst drop rates are abysmal in vanguard strikes anyway. Have only gotten the one for prospector from strikes out of the new ones.

Well there ultra super rare when not playing with clanmates, so how theybstill jave to be super rare when playing with ur peeps.

The increase does work. I'd suggest switching up your runs between nightfalls and reg strikes. Cats drop rate is higher in nightfalls. Also, you gotta remember it's all rng. Sometimes you will go strikes/nightfalls, get nothing. Then there will be runs where you get one for like 4/5 in a row. Nothing is guaranteed, it's all rng.

1 ReplyI got all the new catylst in the first week . Probably a good 70 ish strikes within a week and got them . It’s a grindy game you have to grind . 6 strikes and you want one to drop ? Come on now bro

It’s going to take a lot more than 6. Assuming it still works, the mindbenders ambition farm is/was the best way to get strike catalysts.

Actually it was a simple question of if the drop rate does increase it was not complaining, so for all of the wanna be wise guys it was. Completely unnecessary for you to respond. BTW for most of you thanx for the feed back.

6 strikes and a nightfall?? My friend/clanmate and i have been running atleast 5-10 nightfalls a week and he still only has 2 of the catalysts. Its rng
