Agree regarding the day, but there's no such thing as evening....someone's afternoon is someone else's evening etc

My point exactly. They could release it on Friday evening, and it would be someone's afternoon, morning, whatever the time may be in your area. I can see why they're being a lot more fair this time around with raid races for world first, but a tight window like that is a bit much and why a Friday release in general might be better, but someone else in the world might get screwed over, understandably they'd be a bit ruffled but what they will fail to understand, but they should, is if they release it say evening in their location, it could be like 2 AM PDT which is the timezone Bungie associates with cause they're in Seattle, I'm pretty sure they're at home sleeping. Could bring up time crunch which is getting a lot more traction lately but that's a whole other beast to tango with that I'm not going to get into. All in all, time zones ain't fair, and never have been for ages, can't blame Bungie for a thing that is completely out of control for everyone else in the world. For example, Division 2's weekly reset(Black Tusk invasion) is at 3 or 4 AM PDT. Am I gonna be up that early to run weekly shit? -blam!- no, I'm asleep at that time, am I gonna make a fuss about it? No, cause it is what it is, time zones are a -blam!-, that's the harsh reality of it.

  • Weekend would still be better though, no matter what time in the world it is there is still work/school to be done. You'd be lucky if it falls around 6pm. Not a problem for Streamers though huh? I mean it is their job so mid-week is perfect, couple days to clear it then release a bunch of vids at the weekend for everyone else to catch up. Probably just coincidence though, I'm sure.

I'm not saying midweek is perfect, a tight window like that is atrocious, my honest opinion is a release window like Last Wish had or a week after it drops is MUCH better. They could have it on a Friday night or Saturday and people still won't be happy, can't please everyone. If you want to tackle it day 1 if you're able then go right ahead, streamer or not, I've done it, not my preferred way of doing them, I've always preferred waiting on guides to come out and do some homework on the raid like I've done with Last Wish and knew how to do said mechanics as if someone's already done them. Chances are you won't complete it day 1 cause of course it is a raid, if you do then props to you.
