And honestly I enjoyed it A LOT, not because nostalgia, I enjoyed the game because it was kinda fun
It feels a little off, but it’s still so good, it was a long time ago I played something for 6+ hours without a pause
Will probably replay the whole trilogy
Kind of sad that I think such an old game is so much better than Anthem...

I’m getting a little nostalgic now
The story was great. I remember being blown away by the graphics, the interaction with other characters, the choices you could make as a player. The game gave you a chance to interject your personality into the story. And there were some pretty cheesy builds you could do... I remember playing as a biotic and giving the whole squad explosive rounds. Ragdoll for days. Mass effect 2 was also great. Good God the leading screens though. I didnt get mass effect 3 for some reason or another but I literally watched playthroughs of the entire game on YouTube. Didnt get andromeda because by that point I was too distrustful to buy anything from EA before hearing reviews drop and I mean multiple independent reviews not shills. But, point being, I was so supremely disappointed when I realized how bad the dialogue, story, NPC's and all of that felt in Anthem. And what kills me the most is the fanboys "bUt ItS a YoUnG gAmE". Bullshit. It was in development for like 6 years by a big AAA developer backed by one of the biggest AAA publishers.

6 RepliesJust because something is old doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with it. I’ve been playing the same game for about 25 years. If you’re wondering it’s The Elderscrolls 2: Daggerfall. Gonna have it’s 25th birthday on 20th if September this year.
