Hello!
Been playing Destiny 2 on PS4 for a while, was out of town for a month, and came back to the game not launching on my system. I open the game, press 'X' on the Forsaken splash screen, then it goes to the white loading screen. It will play the music, animation spins, but then it will hang. Sound stops, spinning stops, then starts again. Never loads into character select. I let it sit for an hour, no error or change. Just loops the animation with the sound.
I uninstalled the game, re-downloaded, no change. A friend brought his PS4 to my flat, connected to my home network, I sign in with my account and it is no problem. Has anyone run into this before? I haven't been able to play for a while now, not sure what to do about it. All my other games work just fine, offline, online, no issues. Just Destiny 2.

After uninstalling the game, clear the cache and install it again. If it doesn't work just unplug the power cord from the console and leave it for half an hour to an hour. Leaving it out for that long worked for me. Hope this helps.

I'm having the same issue as this. Did you figure out what to do to fix it?

I'm having the same issue, haven't been able to play for about a week now since I first noticed the problem.

5 RepliesHey beardzerker. Thanks for reaching out to us about this. You may want to clear your console cache and check to see if that might help with your issue. If that doesn't work, you may want to uninstall the game, clear your console cache, then reinstall the game. You may also want to compare your PS4 network settings with your friends PS4 on your network to see if there are any differences.
