Here’s a thought

What would happen if SIVA and Radiolarian ever got into contact? I mean there’s a Cashe on Nessus, it wouldn’t be impossible...

Agree with others in this thread Vex tech, being more advanced, would probably be unaffected by Siva and resist whatever Siva tried to do. Vex eats Siva, basically. Not the other way around.

The vex infect everything that come into contact with them. Some races have resistance to this. But they infect you as soon as you enter. Siva is something that needs programming and the vex are masters at programming. Tho it would not be a big leap in power or anything. The vex are already Siva. They reconstruct worlds into vex minds, galaxies and more. What would siva really add the vex already dont have?

The Vex could use SIVA to improve their chassis, weaponry, tools, etc. But there’s no way the SIVA could enhance the Radiolaria. It’s a pool of microorganisms, physically incapable of being enhanced except to become more durable. “Oh no, the Vex milk glows red now!” Imagine Plankton in a suit of armor. As for the SIVA effect on the Vex Collective Mind… That could be interesting. The SIVA could probably learn from the Vex, but might not be able to integrate itself with the Vex Collective Mind. Lore cards have shown that SIVA doesn’t have much effect on the host’s mind (though it can take control of the body and stifle the awareness of the host, effectively drowning out their thoughts if the infection is strong enough). The Vex Collective Mind might be too much for SIVA to affect. But the Vex have shown that they don’t want anything mixing with their radiolaria, and would probably purge any SIVA-infected radiolaria with extreme prejudice. Also, we do know that Vex can convert things to their will. Ex: the Frame corrupted by Vex code that nearly killed Maya Sundaresh. Ex: after encountering a Servitor that the Vex had smashed, our Ghost mentioned that Vex could convert Servitors. Ex: Kabr, who was turned after consuming radiolaria Ex: Asher Mir’s steadily increasing infection from the radiolaria spreading in his body, slowly connecting him to the Vex. Ex: the turned AI that Failsafe encountered while imprisoned by the Vex So maybe the Vex could convert SIVA. It’s likely.
