Because this fan base is filled with a bunch of spoiled children who believe that the word nerf shouldn't even be spoken around this game, more or less applied to the game in any way. They think that just because they 'earned' a broken weapon, it should stay broken. What I don't understand more than anything, however, is why people are more pissed about the whisper nerf than the sleeper nerf. Sleeper's ricochet damage was basically irrelevant for most encounters, and then they go and nerf it? THAT is what people should be up in arms about. Not a broken weapon getting what it deserves.
