I'd watch. I'd also take the challenge of a fireteam with 3 titans and (insert 1 you said they cant use). I think it'd be fun to think of and use a setup that would do well. In your scenario, can we use any weapons? Can we still use those supers you mentioned, just not with the exotics you named? Since i dont know, i'll think of a fireteam not using those. Thinking of 1 as i type this: 3 sunbreakers (2 middle tree, 1 bottom tree)...2 middle tree wear hallowfire; bottom tree wears crest of alpha lupi....last member can be dawnblade bottom tree with apotheosis veil....or gunslinger middle tree with shards.....2 middle tree titans would use the tall barricade, bottom tree would use rally.....all would use the nade that stays burning on the ground (slipping my mind)....warlock would use healing rift with solar nades.....hunter would use dodge that reloads and nade that tracks (slipping my mind)....as for weapons: primary - breakneck....secondary - luna, vow, oxygen, prometheus lens ....heavy - sleeper, avalanche..... 1st room should be easy clear.....as for the bridge: titans with tall walls can use those to help shield from snipers while 1 uses oxygen/vow to take them out....rally barricade titan will pop it in the rift to help heal and reload weapons....2 middle tree titans can use their supers to take care of ads coming from front/back....3rd titan uses super to help with ads...warlock pops super to help with ads and give others their class abilities back instantly....or hunter uses super to help with ads.....between the 4 supers and masterwork weapons, should be enough orbs to pop supers at each spot to get through the bridge.... ...now which boss are they gonna be facing?

  • If its Titans I would go bottom tree sentinel with Doomfang. You can keep a super going acroos the whole bridge. No need to worry about snipers. The 4th guy better have some heals himself as there wont be time to drop towering barricades.

  • That could work. Picked solar classes since he said solar burn. The reason getting the barricade wont be an issue: popping a super with the veil on gives allies their abilities back. And the hallowfire would help speed up the abilities too.

  • Is oxygen worth having?

  • 'Worth having' is all individual choice. To me, it is. I like scouts and it's fun to use cause of the explosions. Since we talking about reckoning, i've used it to do what i mentioned in my post: take out the snipers on the bridge during solar week. Made quick work of them. And since it uses primary ammo, i didnt have to switch gear around when i switched between that and luna (used luna 1st and 3rd room, oxygen on bridge). If you have the time, i'd say go for it.

  • Nothing would kill the large yellow bars on bridge and nothing to stop their slams since hey wouldn’t die quick enough bopped off or at least enough to finer team and wiped. Also orb generation without any help from suoer return exotics would not get the supers back quick enough for everyone. Finished it for you.

  • You must have never used/seen middle tree titan in action on the bridge. It does exactly what you just said nothing would be able to lol. It stops the yellow bars in their tracks. Also, after a couple slams, it either kills them or leaves them with extremely low health. That's where the other 2 can help clean up. So, like i asked: what boss are they facing?

Lol yea, you really should just use/see the middle tree titan in action before you assume the worst. Orbs and killing wont be an issue at all. It is possible for more than the 1%, the majority of people just arent willing to try out different setups/ways cause that's how our(destiny) community is. When 1 way is found to work, the majority act like that is the only way to do something. That is until a big name streamer says otherwise. It's been that way since d1.

  • It works when you plenty of orbs to jump right back into it again. Other than that, you're hosed, because Titans dont generate orbs in PvE well. Especially with the subs you listed. You won't make it across but very cool, thanks for sharing!!

  • Titans generate orbs pretty well. Also, the titan with the alpha lupi chest piece creates extra orbs with his super. So between supers and masterwork weapons, orbs wont be a problem. I'm pretty sure the team would make it across the bridge.

  • Ok. I main a Titan and have since D1. No one is seriously going to wear that turd of a chest piece. Your fantasy is borderline Intriguing but mostly annoying. Good day. The Titan is the least useful for generating orbs.

Here we go with the 'i main (insert whatever), that means i'm right' stance lol. I might not main titan (dont main anything, i use all 3), but i've spent plenty of time using titan since d1, so i have a good understanding of what it can do. Also, "turd of a chest piece' lol if you say so. That 'turd of a chest piece' is rather good actually. But i know, since it's not deemed 'the best' by the community/whatever popular streamer/etc, that means it's a 'turd'. Didnt know the convo was about whom was the best for generating orbs. The op stated a specific scenario using 3 titans, hence me stating a fireteam with 3 titans and setups. As for generating orbs, titans do that just fine. In the case we talking about, there will be plenty of ads for the titans to hammer, creating at least 4-6 orbs per super per titan, which will get you across the bridge. Good day to you as well guardian.
