So let’s consider this my interview.
My doctorate is in [redacted]. Not Public Relations. Why would you hire me? I love Destiny. I love Halo. I play the game almost daily. I’ve been a gamer since Asteroids, in the arcade. I read the forums. I have a pretty good finger on the pulse of the game.
What you are doing here isn’t good. It isn’t informed or even tested. Your decisions are perceived as if you operate in an ivory tower, exclusive from your fans, your competitors, and your critics.
This needs to change. I can help. You can’t keep taking 1 step forward and 3 steps back with every season cycle. I care too much and am invested enough to not let this happen further.
We can talk salary and relocation fees later. But look, I care. I really do. And that’s enough. Let’s work on a priority list of things we can do now to provide the most benefit. Heal our relationship with our community. Fix what can be fixed, remedy what can’t. I’m not afraid to see how the sausage is made and peek behind the curtains.
I’ll be in your area in a month. I think it will be fun. I main a Warlock. Thank you for your time.

I don’t know, I’d never hire any of the dumbasses on this forum for anything

This sounds straight outta Die Hard “Hanz, bubby, I’m you’re white knight!”. It doesn’t end well for Harry lol

I don’t want you as the Bungie PR person. Just because you don’t even know who the PR people are now. Your interview/job application is Denied.

Nice try. I am pretty sure they have people like you already. They knew pretty damn well what would happen (well, maybe not to this degree). And they still did this. Maybe they are this out of touch with the world. Maybe they have reasons to do it this way. Probably, they just do not care, and the PR guy will not change the mind of the official who decided this. They do not care about money (and hence PR) that much as well, that is why Activision dumped them.

You have a doctorate degree, but you don't know how the hiring process works?

This....this is sad....
