Recovering old Bungie account
I'm trying to recover an old Bungie account form years ago to merge with this one. I can find my old accounts when searching my username on here but when I try to sign into the old account I get a page asking if this is my first Bungie account as if I'm creating a new one.

This page has a section on account recovery:
'Bungie.net Profile Recovery
If a player has lost access to a Bungie.net profile by removing all associated authentication methods, they may proceed through the following steps to reclaim their account:
Identify the authentication method used to create the Bungie.net profile that was closed or lost
Ensure the authentication method has been unlinked from any active Bungie.net profiles
Click "Create a new account" and use the account credentials that were originally linked to the desired account
Select "Recover" next to the desired Bungie.net profile and complete the account reclamation process, which may be identified by profile membership ID's or Bungie.net join dates'
The 'Create a new account' and 'Recover' options don't seem to exist though
Anyone done this before?

1 ReplyHello, Accounts can only be recovered within 90 days of being orphaned. If it has been over 90 days you can't recover the account. Your current account is 2 years old so you lost that account over 2 years ago.

After 90 days, this process will be unavailable.[/quote] Based on you saying it was an account from years ago, it sounds like an account that never had the login connections updated from the old login methods (Back when you could use direct logins or something other than XBL ID/PSN ID/Battle.net ID). Either way, the "years ago" means it's definitely outside that 90 day period of recoverability. Sadly, if the above is the case, then your old account is no longer available and is simply archived for viewing.
