As you may have guessed this post is in response to the nerfs and said reasons for the nerfs. However Im going to keep this somewhat short and simple. If you're worried about something being too powerful across the board start designing more encounters that punish using a certain weapon type so that you literally have to swap your gear to a completely different style from one thing to the next in endgame content. Make a boss with no crit spot, make an encounter with multiple bosses, make encounters that are all ads, etc. Make PvE enemies harder instead of ruining the gear. Give enemies more abilities and maybe even immunities and what not. Look at WoW for one, there have been some solid changes that keep you feeling powerful but still challenge you. By nerfing this gear it makes them feel weak in lower tier content and you dont want that ever. I dont even need to explain why. Because of these nerfs Im considering just running Wormhusk Crown now in PvE. Nightstalker is now officially useless too. These nerfs are literally going to kill dozens of builds and weaken entire subclass trees. This is not the route to take I understand wanting to avoid power creep and making everything easy, I dont want those either but come on man. PvE nerfs are not the answer every time. Make the enemies and content harder. Add more mechanics, more enemies, more abilities, etc. Major Servitors in endgame content are a perfect example of what Im talking about. They're shielded and tanky and when there's 4+ at 700 they are difficult but you can still "melt" them with top tier gear. Sure its not super fast but its still quick enough that you dont feel weak as hell. I honestly dont know any other better example than that, they strike the perfect balance. They can wreck you by themselves but still you have a good chance alone against them, they take a lot of hits, and they shield other enemies. Now give this kind of treatment to everything and see what you get. Use top tier gear against the changed enemies in testing. You guys need to actually listen. We're tired of this shit. Thats just my 2 cents
