Give the Black Armory new guns every season
I loved the Black Armory expansion. I know a lot of people didn’t but I personally did. I love guns, and an entire expansion with guns as the main drive and focus? Oh baby. Sadly, all the guns I like, I’ve got fairly decent rolls. What I would love to see is a few new guns entered into the Armory with the release of each new season.
I know this might be hard to do, like developer wise, but it’s a neat idea, and would give the Armory a little more usefulness. What y’all think?

Ada is Exo. Meaning she supposed to have enormous experience and/or knowledge (even if some memories are blocked). Meaning she could alter all existing frames and expand them with ease. So, what Bungie should have done long ago, they should have allow us (through Ada) to craft all archetypes of weapons. To let people who, for whatever reason cannot access relevant activity (raids) or reward (24 Half-Banked medals, 0 curated Spare Rations; and my luck with Waking Vigil isn't that much better, just 3 of them) could actually craft whatever they want. They don't even have to create new meshes, use existing ones. Kindled Orchid is fine, but what about some Molten Tulip 150 RPM revolver? Or Flaming Rose, 180? Incinerating Rhododendron, 110? All it takes, just few hours working with existing gun tables, that's it. No matter how old Tiger engine is, it can't be that hard. I mean, I use multi-grand cost government approved and regulated software, that looks and works like it's Windows 3.11 era. Black armoury could be the best thing that happened with Destiny loot-wise, because it's fair in terms of loot/player time exchange. I made over 100 Blast Furnaces frames alone, don't have my god roll (my demigod was 75th, and since then I got 12K with it), but I'm not complaining on that. Because every time I got Blast Furnace. And sometimes - some other guns. Unlike my Spare Rations grind-fest, that brought me nothing. So, ahem *clears throat* "AK-47 FOR EVERYONE!" (Command and Conquer: Generals:)).

1 ReplyJust give everything a slight update after every season or two. Ex Escalation protocol gets new Rasputin gun and reprised armor with ornaments. Black armory gets one or two new guns with all the new perks that came with jokers wild. Iron banner should get ornaments and new weapons as well. New weapons and taken ornaments for dreaming city Planetary vendors should get reprised armor and one new gun each. Just a few small updates every couple of seasons to everything would make the game so much more alive instead of just focusing on one point every season. Doesn't seem like a lot of work to update a few things within every season, I feel like even a skeleton crew would be able to do that.

Lol gotta be kidding me at least 80% of the weapon’s in black armory were reskins. I would rather see more gear been introduced into open world collection so everyone has access to it and not just a select minority

8 RepliesI would rather have raids and strikes drop guns. If I want to play a horde mode in a tiny arena I will buy a mobile game- not a AAA game on the latest console. These DLC’s have been straight trash. Don’t listen to this person.

That would be indeed a good idea, some new regular legendaries and bounties legendaries, the main guns. That would be cool to have full random weapons, like even the RPM, having a 720 black armory would be quite cool. Having new weapons for old content would be quite cool, like escalation protocol weapons with random rolls

Bungie doesn't care. They make these throwaway seasons and then they move on. Meanwhile they constantly f up crucible and just watch the playerbase dwindle and lag increase.

I've thought of this myself. I personally loved the design of almost every black armory weapon. They really should add to the black armory every season. It doesn't deserve to be a one and done type experience.

I really like the Black Armory weapons... I can't stand hopping around like a little fairy throwing fairy balls at some big phallus for 20 minutes though. Kind of a weird activity...

Black Armory scout rifle, Hakke frame. Just like EP, Black Armory should have had a full range of weapon frames.

I totally agree with this. Once you get the roll you want theres no point to keep going back in when you can just infuse. I think with each season we should get at least one new weapon of each kind of weapon. Have each week randomly rotate what is available. Each week will have one of each kind of gun but which ones are chosen randomly. Gives us a reason to keep coming back

There is a Black Armoury Forge weapon for each weapon type except those three for some reason. Honestly. There is a [i]bow and sword[/i] but no SMG or sidearm. Come to think of it, I don't believe the Dreaming City has any of those three either, both in Destination rewards and the Raid.
