In Destiny 1 every dlc that came out gave us a full vendor restock of weapons, why do the Destiny 2 dlcs only give us a handful of new guns?
-
These arent full fledged dlcs, imagine april updates from D1 on a bigger scale but smaller then the average destiny dlc.

1 ReplyEdited by Gravezero: 5/16/2019 9:53:36 PMI feel black armory had a good amount if weapons, between forge weapons, exotics, raid weapons, and the y1 redux weapons like baligant and swift ride. Drifter has some really cool weapons from reckoning, but the drop rate is abysmal. Lots of new interesting perks, that unfortunately I haven't had a chance to use. I have more prime pulse rifles and heavy grenade launchers then I had edge transits.

1 ReplyEdited by Proper-Gander: 5/16/2019 9:34:31 PMLittle secret: bungie has scrapped all their time, effort, resources etc. and is instead focusing on D3. I mean lets all face it, D2 has kinda been a huge screw up
-
1 ReplyCause making loot is hard
-
Lack of new weapons and new class exotics. So far, only 1 for each class and we're already towards the end of Year 2. Year 2 has been nothing but disappointment after the Annual Pass contents started dropping.
-
The Annual Pass isn't a DLC, it's a drip feed of content over the course of a year and from what I hear it's all that's coming for Y3 with another Annual Pass. So don't go expecting any major 'anything' content drops until you buy D3 in 18-24 months.
-
2 RepliesA. Not DLC's B. Pinnacle weapons C. Random rolls
-
What are you talking about? Eververse is full of new things every season while we’ve had the same crucible, vanguard and gambit gear for three seasons straight. Wait, why are there even paid DLC’s in this game?
-
They're all reskins any way
-
1 ReplyBecause the annual pass is supposed to be primarily about endgame content, not a proper expansion.
-
^ THIS
-
Giving all the Mercury and Ep rolls and armor year 2 treatment would be great.
-
7 RepliesThey're also not considered DLCs, so they don't give us any new missions, strikes, or associated content. I don't like the season pass model.
-
1 ReplyNobody remembers how much of a joke vendor restocks were. They were pointless reskins of weapons and armor from an expansion or two prior. These rose-tinted glasses are getting ridiculous.
-
7 RepliesDestiny 2 dlcs only give us 1 new gun if we are lucky.... the rest are brought back from d1. Apparently the people who made d1 have all left bungie so I'd say it's down to an immense lack of creativity
-
4 RepliesThen go play d1....otherwise focus on the future. All the comparing to d1 is ridiculous, AIM HIGHER!
-
21 RepliesThe black armory and gambit prime legendaries are high quality weapons. Each pinnacle weapon is greatly superior to most of D1 vendor's legendaries.
-
D1 had more reskins per dlc. D2 has had more unique weapons per dlc At least since forsaken
-
1 ReplyEververse has 21 new ghost shells, 23 new ships.. there are 20 new weapons lol
-
2 RepliesThey already have our money so why bother? Probably will be used along with gally to sell next years pass...
-
D2 resets only refresh the eververse. Bungie could care less about if you like the game, they gotta get fresh product in those loot boxes babay!
-
1 Replyannual pass does not equal DLC
-
Eververse isn't short of any new gear. Thanks Bungie /s
-
People would just complain about the weapons and have them nerfed anyways, outbreaks days are numbered even though it's fine how it is
-
2 RepliesHeres the difference, in D1 for PVE more than a scarce few weapon types were usable. It was cool to see the new vendor rolls each week. In D2 for the most part snipers, scouts, autos and machine guns feel pretty useless. So nothing offered will be a viable option over Lunas, Recluse, Threat Level, Kindled Orchid etc... Yes you can use other weapons and be effective eith them but they're never the best option because theres just no parity in this game.
