It’s the PvP community that’s toxic???

Did everyone forget how in D1 you literally weren’t allowed into a raid team unless you had gjally? Or how every raid post requires 10+ clears even on day 1. “KWTD or get booted.” Or if you die in a raid and cause the team to fail you get booted? If you queue for a match-made activity and fail once, everyone will leave the fire team instead of trying again? Everyone thinks the PvP community’s favorite phrase is “git gud” but there are constant posts about the zero hour mission right now regarding its difficulty. Guess what you can find there? PvE players telling other PvE players to “git gud.” So is it just the PvP crowd who is toxic? If anything, the D2 community in general is toxic. Disclaimer:
inb4 “git gud” - I am a pretty good overall Destiny player. I’ve soloed the shattered throne. Had over 100 King’s Fall completions. I have 1K Voices, Luna’s, Recluse, Breakneck, 21% Delirium, Outbreak w/ catalyst. I’m not complaining about LFG or the PvE community. I think that most people play both PvP and PvE and that, sadly, the entire community is toxic in general
Edits: In regards to responses on teaching new players:
”Usually I’m in the mood to teach new players but sometimes I just want to get through a raid.” In PvP that translates to “Usually I don’t mind losing some games but sometimes I just want to get a group together and roll through every team we face.” It’s a double standard in that the PvE player is considered “normal” and the PvP player is considered a “sweat” or “tryhard”
In regards to responses on KWTD:
Yes you can watch a YouTube video. I do this before I enter any new activity requiring a coordinated team. However, most YouTube videos will explain the mechanics that are easy to learn but you can’t learn the different strategies different teams do without actually getting in an getting some clears done. “Okay I got 1, so who’s gonna take 2, 3, and 4?” “Are we doing the ABC strat or XYZ strat?” You can know all of the mechanics but don’t know the strategies. Asking what being number 2 means is a boot. Saying you haven’t done it before but you know how the mechanics work is also a boot
• It's actually the younger generation of people that are the most toxic. Teens to early 'adults'. They are the ones who have the free time to put hours into a game and forums. They ask can't cope with losing. No resilience. Therefore, crave attention of others to wipe their tears away.
