Revert Borealis back to year 1 spec
This is something that I've wanted since borealis got moved to being a special. Then getting ionic return nerfed from double damage down to where it's at now.
As it is at the moment, borealis is practically useless as an exotics pick. Its getting beat by legendary snipers.
I'm bias because it was my favourite year 1 sniper.
It used to be close to matching whispers box breathing damage with ionic return. It could beat it on void with tractor canons buff.
The ability to switch elements also made it more versatile.
Im hoping it can be reverted to full year 1 spec. Other weapons have been buffed or made extremely strong. There's no reason to keep borealis being so weak anymore.

Thought Sleeper and Queenbreakers were bad? At least they cost heavy ammo. Borealis would have been a monstrosity.

I use it for Zero Hour and Insurrection Prime Pt.1 for the shanks. (Hard Light seems to do hardly anything to those shanks but Borealis takes out an entire group in one hit.) Pretty much all it's worth using for though. I wouldn't mind seeing it buffed.

I've wanted a good reason to use it but I don't see good enough perks. Plus I love strutting my Refer-a-friend ornament for it lol

Ya borealis doesn't feel like a strong exotic at all tbh. It's nowhere near as snappy as the legendary snipers. Aaannnddd. It's exotic perk is garbage.... People have been asking for a way to counter supers maybe 2 borealis shots on a non snappy high zoom low handling sniper is more than fair
