Malfeasance is a pretty good gun in pve, but quite a few of the other exotic primaries are starting to pass malfeasance in usability a bit.
It doesn't really need much, but I have a few suggestions I think would make it just a bit more useful:
Increase its...what is it called...detonation, by around 15% against all targets.
Increase its damage against taken by an additional 10% for the base weapon, meaning the bullets themselves and not the detonation thing.
This will make it a little better at killing normal enemies as well as taken.
Thorn is also a good weapon to use as it's burn damage and ammo efficiency make it pretty good.
I think the burn should be just a bit more deadly when soul devour isn't active.
So like instead of the gun doing 200 a tick by itself and then 1000 with devour, increase base burn to 500.
So base burn does around half devours damage.
This will increase its base damage it can deal while not changing the maximum, which is already pretty good once devour is active.
Leave your thoughts to what I proposed please.
