I’ve been watching some solo and speed runs of Zero Hour in YouTube, but I’m seeing a lot of Mountain Top and Recluse being used.
So far my main load out has been:
Arbalest
Misfit
Roar of the Bear
I’m playing on Xbox One, and noticed that the aim assist on the Arbalest is causing me to miss a lot of distance shots. If an enemy runs by while I’m aiming at something in the distance the gun starts following the moving enemy. I want to try another load out that is effective for the mission.
Any ideas???
EDIT: Thank you so much for your responses. Really looking forward to trying these out when I get off work.

1 ReplyI've been using a blast furnace with feeding frenzy and rampage Telesto And 21% Delirium, but if someone has arc covered then the hammerhead
-
2 RepliesI used Nameless Midnight/ Riskrunner/Hammerhead
-
Threat Level/Midnight Coup/Spare Rations Nation of Beasts/IKELOS One Thousand Voices/Thunderlord/Whisper

I run Blast Furnace for primary and I switch between Nation of Beasts, Kindled Orchid and Luna’s for my energy and Whisper for my heavy. Switch between the energy HC’s depending on what shields I need to take down . Works great for me , got 67 % of my catalyst done so far using this loadout style

Telesto is probably the best PvE gun in the game. It can do shields, mobs, and bosses. It's difficult to justify not carrying the thing unless range is a concern and you want a ranged exotic.
-
My loadout consists of blast furnace with feeding frenzy, depending on what the other two are running I go between kindled orchid, nation of beasts(curated version), or a trust for the different shields, lastly my damage dealer is the whisper of the worm. If you still don’t have it around the weekend time I can always run you through it, I’d do it on the weekdays but there’s always that time zone difference to account for

2 RepliesFatebringer Ldr 5001 Gally Titan with weapons of light

Bygones. Hard Light. Hammerhead. Maybe Hammerhead isn’t great, but I used the Delirium last week, so I’m assuming another good MG would be close to as useful.

Blast furnace or Bygones Jotunn Hammerhead

Parcela stardust Riskrunner masterwork Bad omens

1 ReplyI ran show of force(field prep, explosive rnds, boss spec), fighting lion, and a crooked fang (opening shot, box breathing, boss spec) Handled everything perfectly, but relies on your ability to clear ads with fighting lion, which is no problem for me but your mileage may vary. Teamates had pulse rifles, sniper secondaries, one whisper and one hammerhead.

Arbalest Special of your choice Hammerhead

4 Repliesthreat level or perfect paradox / riskrunner / hammerhead... bring it close... riskrunner gives you arc protection and when the perk is active melts every shield and has infinite ammo... almost all fallen damage is arc...

3 RepliesPrimary * Go Figure or Blast Furnace Elemental * Three hand cannons to swap for shields. - Waking Vigil or Nation of Beasts - Trust - Kindled Orchid or Thin Line Heavy * Whisper

I've heard people have success using Le Monarque as the ranged weapon (good range, attack power and you get DoT which crushes shanks). I've also seen a lot of people run with Arbalest, and some with Jotunn. I ran Riskrunner for shank/fallen domination, and Blast Furnace for range (Hammerhead as my heavy). It wasn't the best loadout if the other guys WEREN'T running good ranged weapons, but it worked really well since I was the only one running a shorter range exotic. Not a weapon, but running with a slowvalock with Skull equipped makes all the servitors mincemeat. I didn't have Skull on Friday (of course I got it Sunday, after I got Outbreak), but I switched to slowvabomb and we ran with a second warlock who DID have Skull on, and we blew threw the servitors like nothing (including the ones at the end with the 8 minis around them).

6 RepliesHonestly its a range fight so keep that in mind. It helps if the three in your party all run something different for your energy slot, arc-void-solar. Exotics thunderlord an Whisper, primary anything that's range. I ran with Whisper for you can take down the boss/tanks by landing your three shots. He sits up pretty at the end, clear sights and only teleports so often. Mananna - arc or Oxygen - solar, whatever for void I was Nova bomb so I had the grenade rally a flag before you begin, I tended to run two primaries for ammo drops are scarce for special an heavy. Why Mananna is a good choice, not only does it handle all the arc but it also lets you run faster with lightweight frame. Kill everything! Cheers Wook

not sure about best; but i had no problem doing it with blast furnace, swift ride xe8375 (arc, outlaw, rampage) and a hammerhead.
-
I did it with: Arbalest Ringing Nail Hammerhead
-

Edited by lINVICTUSIl: 5/14/2019 12:38:38 PMThe only exotics I would use for this are: Arbalest, Telesto or Jotunn. I found using an elemental bow with arbalest to be of great use for sniping vandals and marauders and sniper shanks. If I were to use jotunn or telesto, I’d either use bygones, blast furnace, duke, or midnight coup. Both of these set ups I would only ever use hammerhead or sleepless. Roar of the bear is equally as good as sleepless however.
-
I found arbalest to be a waste, it's better to match the elements for the chain reaction explosions.
-
I got mine by running: Blast Furnace Jötunn 21%

2 RepliesWhy does everyone sleep on Telesto? Seriously, not one person suggested it. Try it out. Even next week with Arc Singe, it'll be beastly.
