I understand 4v4 maps are going to have bad spawns they were never designed to accommodate 12 uber humans floating, triple jumping, and shoulder charging around, But how is it a map designed for 6v6 in just as bad Bungie? Nobody should be killed by an enemy guardian spawn in and immediately wiped from existence by the same guardian .0001 seconds out of spawn. You have A LOT of work to do Bungie 8 months of this and not a single update, This would be fine if you were investing your time on PvE improvements but that's not happening either. Slapping some flowers in the infinite forest and the tower hopefully isn't what you have been spending all of your time on, because if it is you guys have bigger problems than trying fix destiny 2... or make destiny 3 for that matter.

I guess that makes you pure trash

Say thx to faster TTK) Ppl just teleporting all the time cuz they die faster) D1 was better right? Enjoy)

Edited by An Error: 5/15/2019 7:10:31 PMTypically in control/Iron Banner, you spawn on a zone you already own. When that one zone is comprised, you spawn on an enemy zone. It’s already moronic enough for a team to lose a zone because the enemy team just starts spawning on it. However what happened when you start taking a zone? The entire enemy team converges on that point. Resulting in a period of time where the opponents just get free spawn kill points because of the spawn flip. Incompetent Or when the game doesn’t know where to spawn your team so it spawns you on a point most of the opponent team is currently capturing resulting in an unfair squad wipe by the enemies. Both of these situations happen at least twice a match for me, and considering the point multiplying based on zones, the spawn system can hand a team a victory just based on spawning people infront of a firing squad. The last match I was in, I popped my super and was taking a zone away from the enemy and I got booted for inactivity. I wiped the zone clean and stood there for roughly ten seconds taking the zone and I got kicked for inactivity. We were winning the match too so that was a nice experience.

It’s true. I am pure trash in Crucible. You don’t want me in your fireteam.
-
Well if something’s pure then it’s not trash because trash is dirty so what are saying. :)

What I don't get about Bungie sticking with the 4v4 maps or even just only creating 4v4 maps. How could they have thought that just making 4v4 maps was acceptable knowing the entire D1 and Halo? I really want to know who made this call especially knowing this is the company that is known to be the one that created the Halo series. 8v8, 6v6, 5v5, 3v3, 2v2, 1v1 and All the maps were created for every single team size. I don't care what anyone says, there is no way in hell Bungie didn't know having 6v6 play in maps that were created only for 4v4 that there wasn't going to be a bunch of problems. Was this more along the lines, this is what were are doing so just deal with it?

Heavy spawn is trash too same spot over and over and over again. Just camp the heavy spot and teamshoot like a bunch of pansies

Edited by mja calg: 5/13/2019 4:19:46 PMNot only are most maps much to small to accommodate 6v6, Bungie's craptacular peer to peer network simply can not support 50% more traffic than it was designed to handle 6v6. I suspect some of the spawn issue are because of lag. Basically, the game checks to see if anyone is at point "A", sees no one and spawns you in. However, because either you or other players lag and their locations aren't updated, you spawn in and there are 3 other players either there or spawning in in plain view of you. Here's a classic example of just how craptacular their spawning can be. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMcLSQebggc We killed each other and then when we respawned, I was spawned inside of them at the exact same location.

I love spawning in the path of the roaming super that just killed me. Good times!
-
Let me correct that: Crucible is pure trash.

I'm 49. - old
They should increase your spawn shield/timer. I should have the advantage since I just spawned. -
It could be worse, you could have BO4 spawns. 😷
-
It's not just 4v4 maps. Pantheon still has only 2 spawn points and it makes it absolutely horrible for control

I enjoy Crucible but sometimes it is infuriating. This weekend for example 4 deaths in a row against a team of 4 or 5 on Endless Vale. At A, gets killed by Stormcaller, get spawned in at starting spawn behind A directly in the path of the Stormcaller that just killed me, get spawned in the cove on the A side of B zone, in front of two opponents who Last Word me, get spawns behind the Tree by A only for the guy who just killed me to snipe me in the head after one step because I was in his line of sight after he turned the corner when he killed me last. I was super pissed at that series.

Edited by Mucha1983: 5/14/2019 1:42:13 PMDidnt notice. 6v6 maybe. 4v4 is ok.
-
yeah, I agree on that front. I cannot count how many times i've spawned directly into an enemy super. On the other hand, I literally sniped a dude off of his spawn because it literally spawned him into my scope. He got one step and he was dead. So sometimes the broken spawns help me too. :) (But seriously, i felt kind of bad about that because it shouldn't have happened.)
-
What are you talking about? Spawning right in the middle of a gunfight or in the path of a Stormcaller is hilarious! Seriously, though, spawns need to be updated and new maps are needed, and maybe some older maps should be taken out of Quickplay and left in Rumble and Competitive (like Solitude, which has no business being a Control map).
-
Edited by RussellMania: 5/14/2019 10:30:59 AMSome I can understand, like when you have a line of sight to the other side of the map and snipe someone as they spawn. Hilarious lol But when you spawn and an enemy immediately spawns right behind you, it's infuriating
This would be fine if you were investing your time on PvE improvements but that's not happening either. Slapping some flowers in the infinite forest and the tower hopefully isn't what you have been spending all of your time on
This is why it always makes me laugh when people say removing PvP would improve PvE... They've pretty much abandoned PvP since September and have given us some of the most lackluster and non-replayable PvE content Destiny has ever had. When Forsaken came out it saw huge improvements to both.
-
if you're referring to the maps imported from destiny 1, the issue is they're not actually the same size. the scale is still smaller than compared to the first game. in effect, thy're still designed for 4v4.
-
Storm caller is the new god tier pvp super. I’ve got a buttload of anhilation medals.

-
They need to buff the spawn timer, I hit a reaper yesterday but a guy spawned in too late so I missed the seventh. Sad 😞
-
8 months? Spawns have been bad since D1.

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 5/14/2019 9:46:58 AMwhenever im falling too far behind in Rumble or Quickplay i just start farming spawn points and catch up in no time
-
Yep. Just yesterday I was guarding C flag and the entire enemy team started spawning there. It was a turkey shoot! I actually let them have C because it was stupidly unfair to be spawning them literally under my scope!
