Zero Hour Timer...

I really don’t know where to settle on this but after doing the mission and getting Outbreak I think I see the issue. (At least the issue in my opinion) The issue is that it’s super easy to argue both ways. You see when I completed the outbreak mission I felt really happy because I had beat this difficult mission and claimed my reward. But it was not fun. I was stressed out of my mind, sweating a lot and extremely anxious. It wasn’t fun it was just stressful. So I think the issue is the idea of Journey vs. Destination. The fact that while it is certainly more satisfying it is significantly less fun along the way. At least for some players. Now I have no idea on whether or not to change the timer. What does come to mind is that it works like D1 nightfalls. If you wipe, you go to orbit. This would allow for the same risk of losing everything due to mistakes and miscalculations but instead of feeling rushed it feels slower. Both allowing for a more rewarding experience and the ability to actually explore the new space which is another thing Ive seen a lot of requests for. If you read this far thank you! That’s just my two cents on the matter. Let me know what you think of my theory. And all of you have a good day.

  • Play the game. The mission is easy. Quit asking for Bungie to dumb things way down to make it easier for you.
