It gets really old just dying to heavy weapons all day.

28 RepliesUsing Taken Armourment mods equals lots of heavy ammo. Invasions need a 60 second gap at least. We played last week on prime and had consecutive invasions without a gap several times. We just laughed at the broken sh1t and stopped playing. Bungo driving players away with a broken game mode and infinite invasion

2 RepliesEdited by reenry: 5/12/2019 6:05:49 PMTry playing on PC. Its Hammerhead. But the only thing Bungie can do to Hammerhead in Gambit is reduce the ammo you get from Heavy. But just because you get killed by it doesnt mean it needs nerfed

1 ReplyEdited by Dagoth Tokodia: 5/13/2019 5:20:41 AMok while we are on the topic of gambit, we should buff the perks of Reaper and Sentry sets Reaper: -Major Rewards spawns orbs of light on major kills as well as the grenade regen -Long Lasting Flavor motes are green Sentry: - A full rework to the final perk, instead it grants the fireteam a damage boost on Envoy and Invader kills -Invader Tracker now weakens the invader's damage output
also to any collectors out there, try using double special with the Cashback perk, I find it fun and effective to take out invaders with my IKELOS_SG and Dreaded Venture
1 ReplyI don't get it. Are people supposed to invade and use peashooters? I swear some people that make posts make no sense
-
1 ReplyExcept Heavy Ammo still never drops for me no matter what.

Gambit and crucible is heavy spam
-
If you have it, I’d recommend using Outbreak. I used it the other day thinking, I wonder how good it is? Dude it melts. Just by myself I was killing he Bosses. Find you some cover and just lay on that trigger.

Then use one yourself

It's ridiculous how much range Machine Guns have and how accurate they are.
-
9 RepliesFor Gambit Prime it’s a joke. The sentry set completely negates invaders. And it’s just Lunafaction lock/Recluse spray everything to death.
-
5 RepliesHeavy does help you kill more in that limited invasion window, so it's understandable why people use it; but gambit is not ran by heavy ammo. All weapons are used in gambit.
-
If that’s true, you could probably say Destiny 2 is Heavy Ammo: The Game
-
13 RepliesJust reduce range on machine guns and don't let sleeper kill in one bodyshot and we'll be fine

Edited by Dominator of Oats: 5/13/2019 2:01:46 PMI feel like a lot of this would be mitigated by removing the wall hacks for invaders. I don't really get why we still have them, it gives a good pvp player the advantage in every fight. Invader gets an overshield, will force one v ones, and the invader can typically have the first shot in any one v one fight. If this was for lower skilled players to do okay in the pvp part of it, they need to learn to use what they have - radar - so they could maybe apply those skills to crucible someday. I feel like the only reason the wall hacks exist is to allow less skilled players get one kill before they die when they invade. But it's a feature of invasions that is greatly abused by the better pvp players. I enjoy Gambit and Gambit Prime but I don't really understand what Bungie is doing with this mode. It seems decidedly not competitive, because even Prime has 2 heavy ammo crate spawns and still allows wall hacks and it's supposed to be the more competitive mode. Those things don't all agree to me.

It gets really old to not have heavy ammo for boss damage... 🙄

3 RepliesInvading with Jade Rabbit is the pure beast mode. Also I’ve been torn to To shreds by people using Arbalest. Even if I make them flinch that can still rock you.
-
3 RepliesI think just disabling heavy While invading would make it more fair, but also remove some attack options in a negative way, like Rocket snipes, can't be mad at those.
-
All Gambit modes are wasted by poor game design. doesn't matter if normal, prime or the reckoning match making doesn't work as every game is one sided and in prime this show up straight away and the game is over within the first few minutes. where's the states available to see peoples rank. hidden away so its doesn't show up the bad match making. the armour sets give the invader a massive advantage with the damage buff. also RNG the armour drops is so poor. people don't have 20 hours to run the reckoning to try and get a full set. I just cannot believe someone at bungo thought joker's wild would be acceptable as a DLC.

1 ReplyYeah, I always keep dying to hammerhead. Like I know is a heavy machine gun, but I can't do anything about it.

buff primaries

12 RepliesPeople have got to learn how to deal with Invaders.
-
Just make it so that enemies don't drop heavy, and that Armament mods don't work. Then make the heavy crates spawn more often to make up for it.
-
2 RepliesGambit prime made the 2 biggest complaints even more of a problem. Invaders & heavy
-
2 RepliesIf they just get rid of the wall hacks invaders get then the game mode would be more enjoyable in my opinion. A full heavy weapon and advanced Intel is way too much, make these invaders actually work for their kills, it should be about map knowledge and movement.

Git good and farm the raid chest for the mods
