When will Heavy Ammo Finder get fixed?
Getting sick of this perk giving me 0 heavy for long sessions.

If you are doing patrols against harmless ads, the game gives you plenty of ammo. When you are in Gambit Prime, it's hit or miss......mostly miss. And a total fail on Bungie's part for not explaining how they work. Do they work together (Special and Heavy)? Cancel out each other? What modes do they work in? Does Special ammo finder work in PvP at all? Who knows, this stinking game doesn't tell you anything.

The funny thing is that you never get heavy when you need it lol. You can run that heavy ammo finder and get 0 bricks in gambit or reckoning but then you go on patrol and do a public event and its raining heavy. Idk if anyone else noticed but in Reckoning when the Heavyweight modifier is on you would get a round when theres like no heavy at all and then heavy is literally everything that drops.

2 RepliesFor heavy ammo finder to work, you also need special ammo finder equipped. That's just how the perks work for some reason. I noticed a large difference in the amount of heavy I get in Gambit once I got heavy ammo finder.

Conventional wisdom is this: have ONE heavy ammo finder, ONE special ammo finder, and ZERO primary ammo finders. But that's just anecdotal. Who knows. I like to carry 1 scavenger and 1 reserve perk for my equipped heavy type. At least I know what those do.

Double check and make sure you're not running primary ammo finder. That'll lower your chances of getting heavy

4 RepliesBetter yet have amo slowly regenerate on all weapons. 40 seconds for +1 heavy 8 seconds for +1 special.

Depends on the missions I think. Like forges and Gambit I never get anything. But adventures, strikes, story missions, raids, etc. I always have heavy
