I’m sick and tired of being killed by jotuun in crucible it’s too dang powerful to be a secondary bungie move it to a heavy slot ASAP

It wrecks when you don't see it coming. But when you see it coming it loses a ton of it's effectiveness because you can just dodge it. It really requires the element of suprise (range helps with this) to be effective.
-
It would be a crappy heavy weapon.

1 ReplySlow charge time + slow projectile travel time = unscathed side step to the left or right. Jumping, dodging, and nearby cover works too.
Actually just about anything but standing still or shoulder charging the shot would give you successful results.
But the tracking is so iffy though. One minute is a heat seeking missile, the next minute it’ll just go blind and miss the target
-
It's too damn weak to be a heavy. Plus, it's easy as piss to avoid, the velocity and tracking are shit enough to make Dragon's Breath look like an Overwatch aimbot. You have summoned me.

Can you please stop crying... You are embarrassing yourself.

Move. Move your thumbs... and move. That is how you counter Jotunn.

Translation: I can’t manage to avoid a weapon with one of the slowest charge up times, and one of the slowest moving projectiles in the game. So I want the weapon broken, instead of me having to figure out what I’m doing wrong....

No. We don't have any worthwhile fusion rifles to use in pve (jotuun, telesto and loaded question are the only good ones) compared to how they were in d1. I don't even use jotuun in crucible, nor do I use it much in pve, but it's a viable option nonetheless. A nerf like that would destroy its use. I hate to be the guy that say git gud, but git gud. is it frustrating being killed by it? Yes. Does that mean it warrants a nerf? No. In the words of Bada**gaming "just because something kills you doesn't mean its op. If you're getting routinely outplayed by something, then maybe you should learn how to counter it, or maybe use it for yourself."

Edited by Machine_DNA: 5/12/2019 10:30:52 AMI’m not sure it’s too powerful but it does feel very cheap sometimes. I think reducing the blast radius would be a fair compromise as it shouldn’t be ruined in PvE.

I mean it's damage is a bit much when it comes to taking down supers but besides that the gun is pretty cheeks, a simple jump gets you out of the way at long ranges and short-mid ranges it can be bested by shotguns or regular fusions.

Edited by DHawk12: 5/11/2019 10:19:48 PMSo is it killing you because you are too slow to jump/sidestep or does it kill you out of nowhere due to your lack of awareness? Jotuhn sucks unless the player using it is very good then jotuhn is just decent. But i wouldnt mind jotuhn getting fused with pocket infinity to become a high dps heavy weapon.

It’s not a great gun, just fun to use. The tracking is 3/10, the travel speed is 5/10. It’s easier to out maneuver than any rocket launcher. “So get out your seat and jump around! Jump around! Jump around! Jump around! Jump up, jump up and get down! Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump! (Everybody jump) Jump! Jump!” -House of Pain
