I have been completing the daily story missions on Dreaming City each week on all three characters (missed one character one week) and still haven’t seen this elusive sparrow drop. I am currently at 0 for 14 attempts after the patch to increase drop rate to 20%. The odds of not getting the sparrow after 14 attempts is 4.398% so I could just be getting unlucky. However, I wanted to post this just in case others were experiencing a similar drought on this particular drop to see if it is common and could be a potential bug with it or if I have just had bad luck.
On a lore note, Cursebreaker feels like an appropriate title for this because every week I log on and repeat the same mission three times. I think I’m in the same repeating curse cycle as the Awoken of the Dreaming City.

Been having the same issue, 2 years later almost. Since the start of this season, I was doing Cursebreaker stuff to get rolls on the reprised weapons (specifically Retold Tale). Figured I might as well finish the thing. 10+ weeks and 30+ missions later and still no drop lol. 20% drop rate my ass man.

2 RepliesI also have the same issue, I haven't missed a week on any of my characters and done everything there is to do in the dreaming city and still no drop of the sparrow. I was lucky enough to get the ship and the ghost pre patch but cannot for the life of me get the sparrow to drop. thats the only thing I have been waiting for to complete curse breaker

1 ReplyJust keep farming, it will drop. I finally got mine this week after farming for it since Forsaken dropped. Still trying to get Palace Galliot though. *ugh* Harder drop rate as you only get 3 chances of the 20% increase rate every 3 weeks.

Each time you try for the sparrow the odds are 1:5 that you will get it and 4:5 that you won't. It is the same if you run it 1 or 1000 times it is still 1:5
