I left Xbox for PS4 for d2 and I played all of the first year stuff. But now I’m back to Xbox wondering if the updates and things are worth it. Plus I would need a new clan and possibly someone to help explain all the new stuff I’m not used to if I buy. Just curious bored of division 2 at the moment looking to get back to the game I loved at one time. I heard the raids were amazing and judging by the forums the outbreak is back.

Yeah the PVE side has alot of value for the money .. you won't run out of things to do .. the PvP side well that's debatable , it's kinda canabalizing itself right now , but there are hopes for its future as well. alot of people where thinking trials would return , but doesn't sound like it will.. PvP just lacks variety .. but iron banner comes around and mayhem is a blast so don't miss those .

5 RepliesYes, anybody who says otherwise is just salty about crucible and there’s not a lot of content right now other than the OP quest. Forsaken is amazing, and there’s so much to do, especially if you’re starting from scratch

Save your $30, Destiny 2 is not a better sequel. To be honest, it's a bit backwards in many ways, in that it feels like it's the precursor for Destiny 1 rather than the sequel.

2 RepliesYea. It just gets old after a year. first run through is a blast.

Don't waste your money.

1 ReplyThanks guys. I forgot how good the gun play is. I went bo4 to division 2 to here and yes gun play is amazing. Graphics are outstanding. I think I’m like level 12 now. Liking it so far filling my levels in between with gambit.
-
Yes, for sure it’s better

So much content to play through if you’re playing catch up. Gunplay is still on point and there’s plenty to grind for. Trolls will always be trolls and say the game sucks just to be “edgy” but I think it’s a pretty good value for the time I’ve invested.

I play daily on D2 and had thousands of hours in D1. D2 has come a long way since vanilla but if I'm being honest, D1 is still the better game to me. Like others have said, if you are into Borderlands at all I'd just wait the 4 months until BL3 comes out.

No. Just stay away, bro. Game is in a bad state.

I've been gone since Oct and judging from all the shit I read in these forms, D2 is a giant dumpster fire right now.

It’s Ok. I’ll call it a placeholder until D3. Not bad but not great. Definitely not like Year 3 of D1. They oversimplified too much and took some really good things we had in D1 away. But the Gunplay is still really good.

Edited by Icon: 5/9/2019 4:19:58 PMYes, but find a good active clan that does all endgame if that’s what you want. Solo is fine to a point but you can’t rely on lfg like in D1

Short answer, no
-
D2 with all the bundled stuff is worth more now then it was a year ago. So I say go for it.

My advice, buy the Borderlands 1 remaster and handsome collection, that'll take you to sept for Borderlands 3 ;)
snitches everywhere
Well I bought the game and I’m in the process of leveling.

3 RepliesIf you are starting completely from the beginning of the Destiny 2 campaign, and you purchase all of the DLC, I would say yes. There is a large amount of content to do, with a lot of story missions, 3 raids, 2 raid lairs, a bunch of strikes, as well as a dungeon that appears every 3 weeks, a good amount of exotic quests, and there’s ghosts and a lot of lore to track down and find. Once you get past light level 650 the grind is really a drag because of how light level drops work. There’s a lot more I can go into, but it’s a long list once you sit down and go into detail.

Step 1 is get the hell off these forums and go to the subreddit. Here there will be constant complaining, much of it unjustified. Taking just the most recent thing, Outbreak coming back, even just weeks ago we had tons of trending posts asking for another Whisper-style mission. Now we have one, and the forums are complaining that it’s hard. Newsflash: Outbreak is a good gun, so it won’t be easy to get. Seriously, get out while you still can, and good luck out there.

Unless it’s free, dlcs and all.

If you don’t mind paying for the dlc then go for it there will be plenty of content for you to play
