Whats wrong with you? With no timer..you still beat the quest by 5 minutes. You still get the gun. You happy Me 3 hours..and I will be happy. Unless you are not happy because many other players can have the gun. Anyway...If you really want a challenge..try to invent electric car high capacity battery that can be charged fast with long life duty. Playing video game is not a challenge. Sorry Its entertainment only after you facing the real life challenge.

  • If you think like this about gaming then really play candy crush or go invent something.

  • What's so wrong with his thought process? I don't see an issue with giving an emblem to people who wanna go for it. He made valid points that gaming is meant for relaxing and enjoying your time. Timers should've been optional for the "hardcore". As this fella said...put the timer on for an emblem. And by the way, this game isn't hardcore. No matter how hard any of you try to make it be so. So this whole "go play candy crush casual scrub" nonsense is rather ridiculous. The entire game is casual.

If casuals and noobs continue to cry about every challenge, it will stay casual for sure. No game in the world has so many bad players. The game is getting more and more easy and I don't like it, so Zero Hour is the final first challenge in a very long time. The revelry treatment for comp was enough. Revelry bounties, lowering of requirements of verdant: competitve triumph, Nerfs to pinnacle weapons, all of these devaluate work. The only reason I'm playing now is to kill casuals and PvE onlies in Crucible, because they can't stop to cry. I don't need every exotic for this, didn't want to get Outbreak, because I don't have your all hording mentality. The new exotic I only got because you noobs cried about it's difficulty.

  • Man. You really need to stop and think. Bungie makes these decisions. Not casuals.

  • They are monitoring all kind of feedback and there is so more crying about the game than in another game.

  •
And by the way, this game isn't hardcore.
Exactly, it's not, so imagine being in such a vegetative state that you want easy content made even easier despite the majority of casual players having 0 difficulty with this There's wanting things easier and then there's wanting to have a straw put in every drink so that you don't have to lift the cup to your mouth.

Not many people are saying it's hard. They are just simply saying they do not like the timer. Yes...it's understood 80% of the playerbase isn't good. That's irrelevant to a mechanic involving a timer. Actually....since it is such common knowledge the average Destiny player isn't all that good. The option to have the timer on should be a given. They had similar options in D1 even. Each Raid had different versions. Easy mode, normal, and hard. They could easily put that option here. In the entire game. That would help....everyone. The gamers who think playing anything on less than Hard Mode is for casual scrubs....wouldn't have to worry about the other 99.9% who just wanna have fun and/or learn the Raids. You didn't need a YouTube video. You could go in on Easy...learn it....bump up the difficulty as you wish. You know...giving people options doesn't make it casual...hardcore...scrub...or elite. It just makes it so that the casual scrubs don't have to mix it up with those hardcore elitists. They can play their game, you can play yours. Everyone is happy. Not sure why anyone would disagree.
