Jubilant Engram Duplicates. Please give me a refund.

Hello, I am a player who plays Destiny 2 about 4-6 hours a day. I have all 3 classes fully geared up and alternate daily. To my complete dismay I realized last night (after 3 weeks of the revelry event) that I was still missing 2 pieces of the vernal growth armor on my titan and hunter and 1 on my warlock!?!? How could this be? There is not a week that goes by where all 3 of my characters have not leveled up at least 5 times (and I am sure I am being super generous with that number). I play a lot. I love this game, I want to collect it all. I remember reading this on "This Week at Bungie" 4/24/2019". "Jubilant Engrams: We have identified an issue where Jubilant Engrams are not knocking out items as expected when opened across multiple characters. We will be reaching out to affected players to resolve this issue after the Revelry event has ended." I purchased over 9000 Silver just to get these remaining 5 pieces of the armor for my 3 characters. That is $90. That is like 1 1/2 anual passes (when I bought it). People who play this game with passion want to collect all the stuff, even the boring stuff. It is super unclear what "We will be reaching out to affected players to resolve this issue after the Revelry event has ended." even means. Are we expecting to be gifted the items we didn't receive? As a collector I don't want to take that risk of uncertainty. Do I risk having that grey armor slot and think Bungie will gift me those items? That has never happened for me before so why this time? In retrospect I should not have bought all that silver but part of me was almost curious how broken this really was and how sad it is that this was not taken more seriously. It has really drained my belief in the soul of this game. I want a refund. I don't want my silver. I want my money. I earned it, you did not. This was not an equal exchange.

  • There are no refunds on any platform for digital purchases period. Even if you wanted a refund, Bungie would be unable to give it to you as they were not your retailer of purchase and never handled your monies. You cannot contact Coke because a soda you got at McDonalds was flat... You go back to McDonalds for your money back. That means you would need to seek restitution from either Sony, Microsoft or Blizzard and all of them have a VERY clear policy that there are NO refunds on digital purchases. And even if you did get a refund by some unbeknownst methods (such as a charge back), your account would then be deducted those 9000 silver (are you freaking kidding me?! Who does that for armor that can be purchased for bright dust and is only really good for one event)? So your account would then show a negative balance of -9000 silver until you repaid the monies.

    • You do realize armor isn't applied in the knockout system right?

Just stop. You ain't gonna get the money. Maybe the silver. But the money. All you can do is wait like everyone else for them to patch it NEXT week.

      • You are aware that every piece of armor was available to buy with dust, right? Even with the knockout bug, there was absolutely nothing preventing you from getting all the event armor.
