I totally agree but there is a trick i've yet to complete the mission but someone extended the bridge at the bottom and I fell and just timed a boost and made it to the bridge thus missing the jump puzzle outside .
I still hate the timers

Not sure of other classes but warlock can make it right down there without the extension.

I did it with a titan took a few tries - but just changed to warlock

Titan with Lion Rampant legs can do it as well.
