Figuring out where to go and the boss fight is the challenge. There doesn't need to be an annoying timer ruining the experience.

Bungie wants to set a bar for people that master. You need all that plus finish within the time limit. It similar to the Luna's howl quest. Get all your kills and get to 2100 glory in 3 months. Sense a pattern?

You can set a bar for people to master content without locking the rewards behind it. You guys like to pretend it’s about mastering content when the reality is you just like rewards others can’t get. That’s the only thing that makes them special for you which is pretty sad. All Bungie would have to do is tie an emblem or something to a speed run version of this quest for people looking to show off how to “master” it.
