Buff bloom, aim assist, accuracy on hand cannons for controller on PC and console
Bloom, aim assist and accuracy on controllers should be improved, they are not even close to being competitive against mouse and keyboard.

On console the only change they should get is less bloom and a little less recoil, they already have Decent aim assist

4 RepliesUsing a controller is the convenient alternative to m&k, they arent and shouldnt be competitive with one another. Pc users should use m&k because it has a much higher skill ceiling and m&k should be banned on console. I agree bloom on console should be removed but aim assist, accuracy, etc should stay the same.

Please amend your post to mention recoil which is the real problem with controllers (and all weapons) rather than bloom.

2 RepliesController shouldnt be a thing on PC. Almost every PC shooter has aim assist disabled. Destiny 2 is opposite. I know several players in the top 50 that use controller. If you want to use controller and take advantage of aim assist go play xbox.

1 ReplyUsing a keyboard on console is basically cheating. Being able to use your whole arm, hand, fingers, wrist etc vs only your thumbs is not anywhere near even.

Only real problem with controller on PC D2 is the sensitivity. 10 sensitivity on PC feels like 4 on Xbox, way too slow. Give the controllers a wider range of sensitivity on PC!

4 RepliesI have a question about bloom. Anyone ever fired a hand canon at a wall as fast as they can? The recoil pattern is always linear. Only thing that deviates is whether it tapers off to the left or right, but that's based off of recoil direction. If bloom exists or is very prevalent, should the patterns be more erratic?

16 RepliesFix frames per second. Destiny has the highest aim assist that I have ever played with on console outside of pve games. 30 frames per second is the biggest problem. People do not realize that it is a slide show, as in, there are empty spots that creates ghost bullets. That is the main reason pc plays so much better. We were not able to compare it in d1 so a lot of us are stuck on old catch phrases. The best frames per second that offer the least amount of missing frames is 240fps. As you detract from there, the frames become moving pictures rather than a smooth movement. Console versions of destiny are obviously at the bottom of the barrel and bungie tries to manipulate it for the betterment of the player. So, our hands are actually being overly assisted due to this. It creates negative situations.. but without the games assistance, we would be far worse due to the 30fps.

Get rid of Bloom and lower the recoil on all weapons! Closer to what PC has. It’s like we’re playing two separate games really.

I agree that certain game play mechanics could be corrected, removed, or tweaked but, thinking this will make the game a better competitive scene is a fallacy and one that this certain part of the community needs to stop propagating.

Of course console isnt nearly as competitive against PC. The frame difference it too damn high. I play primarily on PC and I played one game of D2 on console. It was literally like watching a middle school power point and someone constantly trying to skip the slides.

They’re not supposed to be competitive against mouse and keyboard. If you’re using a controller against a MnK player you’re just handicapping yourself. What makes them dominate is the movement they’re able to achieve on MnK while keeping their crispy aim.

If it was a crossplay issue i would agree. But just ask for a buff of bloom out of spite.? Why dont u ask for a bloom removal on console instead?facepalm.

Remove bloom, dont buff it. Thats exactly why they do bad. Everything else is fine, they need a higher skill gap than in D1. Too easy to use

Another topic about the issues that really plagues this game that will go 100% ignore by bungie. Its not that i think they are being jerks. I think they know they don't have the talent inhouse to make these fixes and are ashamed to admit it to the community.
