Casting aside the PVP issues for the moment, while it’s always nice to see some aspects of Destiny brighten things up, The Revelry took it too literally. Some NEW things once in a while are more than welcome but a re-skin of the haunted forest didn’t get me ‘hyped’... the loot was kind of boring in my opinion, and I think finally getting Arbalest was probably the only good part, but i was expecting a quest of kinds? Rather than about 3 hours of a grind... Maybe some cool looking weapons that could hold their own in the current meta of shotguns, fusions, 180 handcannons might’ve been nice to see. Or even another heavy machine gun, that’d would’ve been hype worthy. Now comes the issue of the crucible... I and I’m sure many of us Guardians have been appalled how the whole other side of Destiny got the short straw, again... The issue of the grenade problem has been one that maaaaaaaaaaaaaaany people have talked about before I’m aware but, and it sounds bad to say this, but I’m glad The Revelry is ending soon, I’ve never wanted an event to end so badly... some of you might agree others will hate me for that but I understand, with some events I think “Oh man The ****** is ending this week i had such a blast!” But with The Revelry I’m Thinking “man I can’t WAIT for this to be over” Ethierway past Tuesday 7/05/19 I can finally put some proper gameplay into the crucible again without having to constantly wonder if I’m going to get skip nade-ed or arkweb-ed or suppressed, and when titans have they’re sentinel up the corridors of every map are filled with thousands of blouncing shields 24/7, and with Doom Fangs or Ursas it really does feel round the clock. I know Bungo put in some serious hours to put this stuff together for the community as a whole to experience, And we love em for it, in addition the to whole activision hand off process that wont make things any easier. But some new non game breaking events where possible would be great. I’m aware this is a late ramble for the topic but if you read all the way through then thanks for taking the time out of your day, hope you enjoy the rest of it!
