I have been getting Error Code Weasel, mostly followed by Saxophone while trying to reconnect, almost daily now. And I can promise that it is not my internet connection since everything else (Discord, youtube, Spotify, seriously everything else) is staying up & running without any hick-ups.
In addition to that, my Friend is getting the same Errors at [b]THE SAME TIME! [/b] We both get Weasel & Saxophone and have to restart the game. We do live in the same city but a few kilometers apart and we share the same provider. It can't be that the provider is -blam!-ing up, can it? Since we don't have our routers synched or anything. It is usually sometime between 9-11pm.
Nevertheless... Getting those two error codes in mids of a gambit or crucible match is highly frustrating.
So far I tried resetting my router to a different time; no change.
Searched for corrupted files & possible repairs in the Battlenet-Launcher & double checked my internet connection.
I'm out of ideas of what to do and it is getting more and more frustrating with each day. Any help?
(ps.: sometimes I get a baboon sprinkled in. If I could just reconnect & rejoin the game it would be less frustrating... :( )

2 RepliesIn the same city & with same provider most definitely isn’t a coincidence. Plus, other apps/games don’t have the same connection requirements that Destiny needs, so they are poor indicators of whether you have an issue or not. Both weasel & saxophone indicate a loss of connection to bungie/blizzard “servers”, which could be caused by packet loss, congestion at isp hubs, etc.
