How about we get a shooting range level?!
It would be really cool if Bungie could create a shooting range for us to test weapons, ranges, builds, etc.
Perhaps like the range on Apex Legends.
I realise that you can do this if you have a friend using private matches, but I would love to do this on my own. Bungie could just add some stationary bots as an option to private matches, or even AI bots to allow practice.

I always thought that would be a good idea. Perfect dark had a shooting range with challenges, it was a lot of fun!

I personally don’t feel there’s a need for a shooting range, Unlike Borderlands or Division where skills and talents and completely change how a gun works or how much damage it does. There’s just nothing like that in Destiny. Kill Clip and Rampage and that are really easy to figure in to calculations. Shooting a wall is all you really need to do to see how well a gun handles

Everything is a testing range. Grab a friend and go test things out with them That’s what I do every new patch

You want a shooting range? Go to the EDZ in front of Devrim. Wait til the enemies fight each other and spawn in like crazy.

I’ve suggested this over and over dating back to Destiny 1. Don’t get your hopes up. It’s an awesome idea and could save players a bunch of grind if you try weapons first.

2 RepliesI thought about this a while back. Put it somewhere below the tower. Be able to test any weapon mod, even ones not in your inventory and see which one you liked best without actually using one of your own.

I thought it was pretty fun the challenges brought with them in game, with classic weapons also being unlocked along the way. Why not have something similar in the tower somewhere.

If you could temporarily apply any of your mods without cost or consuming them then this would be useful.
