What's the point of grinding "pinnacle weapons" anymore? Is Recluse next?

I feel like this game is being overbalanced for very trivial reasons. I am amazed at how many nerfs are being done to weapons and exotic armor in this game. It takes away from everything that made this game fun to play to begin with. So, what is the point of grinding our asses off for future pinnacle weapons? The truth we've come to know so far is that these weapons are either going to be completely underwhelming or their going to feel like they're legitimately pinnacle weapons and then get nerfed soon after you obtain the weapon. This is the sad, unfortunate truth for a lot of people who just earned or paid for the Luna and NF. This is not the way to level the playing field Bungie. The reason these two hand cannons are considered OP is both because Magnificent Howl is fantastically powerful and because the archetype doesn't suffer from bloom. The 110, 140 and 150 rpm archetypes need their bloom removed. I think this game deserves more than just nerfs. I mean, is Recluse next? You had better leave that one alone. Josh Hamrick once stated that he didn't want to nerf weapons anymore and instead wanted to bring other weapns/archetypes more in line with the more powerful weapons. This was the right direction for balance; as long as pinnacle weapons still feel powerful. They're pinnacle weapons, they should be powerful. Remove bloom from other hand cannon archetypes and leave Magnificent Howl alone. Edit: I’m not some butt hurt PvP sweaty, just to clear that up. I’m primarily a PVE player that will relentlessly grind out whatever this game has to offer, because... FOMO. Thanks for the support guys/gals.

  • It's the only handcannon currently that can hit .67 ttk other than TLW. On top of that, to equip it you have to sacrifice ALOT of OHK weapon options. 340 Pulse = .67 200 scouts = .67 180 scout w/ box breathing = .67 900 lw SMG = .67 750 SMG = .67 Auto w/ Spinning up = .60 Sidearms = .50-.67 There were alot of ways to balance it without making it completely pointless to equip over a Service Revolver, Trust, or Kindled Orchid. Those who earned it, had to get good with hand cannons as a part of the questline and then get sopping wet with sweat in comp for another 100 hours. Naturally, you see it kill alot in qp because these proud people are skilled with the archtype, not because its so much more OP than other weapons (its clearly not at all).
