MIDA catalyst
Can we replace Outlaw with Box Breathing? It would work in tandem with the always active radar and it would really be a grind worthy of Legend status. I'd love to see MIDA make a comeback as part of the meta again
With a reload like it has already, why even bother with Outlaw?
While we're at it, can we get year two versions of the Mini Tool and Drang?
Edit: While we're asking for changes, I'd like to throw out the idea to allow it to drop from all comp match finishes as opposed to reaching max Glory. Just an idea

As of now it’s the biggest waste of a catalyst in the game. The guns reload is insanely fast already, outlaw is barely noticeable

Im in favor of the idea of multiple catalysts. I absolutely love the idea of catalysts, every single exotic deserves one and the faster the better, its a shame they havent implemented more. In the event that we do get more catalysts some people have proposed the idea that we get multiple catalysts so we can choose. Lets say you have the Whispered breathing catalyst for WoTW but later on they introduce an alternate catalyst where proccing white nail increases your fire rate and stability briefly.

Just an idea[/quote] That is the most important imo, however an additional statt boost would be nice, i think box breathing would make it too strong (the potential to 3 shot plus its high rof combined with its high stability makes it the scout rifle version of lunas howl).

Even if it just reloaded instantly on a precision kill that'd be a worthy improvement

It should be a random drop from any crucible match and should give kill clip instead of outlaw

5 RepliesThis catalyst has to be the most ignorant catalyst introduced in the game. I'm a completionist to a certain extent...but when I saw that u had to do Legend in Comp for a reload catalyst, I just laughed and shook my head. I wish I knew what the logic/reasoning behind that was. Perhaps if there were point floors in Comp or lose the Glory loss after a defeat, it would make a bit better sense. There are 4 COMPLETELY worthless catalysts and they all come from high-end end-game: Mida Telesto Sleeper Skyburner's Oath **Legend of Acrius takes honorable mention as the gun just doesnt get used.

2 RepliesEdited by Hawpy: 5/1/2019 1:13:50 AMScout Rifles in general are in a terrible place. No Feelings, the only Scout Rifle that can have Box Breathing does 55 to the head and 89 with BB active. MIDA does 54 to the head. Why use a 180RPM Scout Rifle over a 200RPM one when it fires more slowly for a damage increase that only impacts the TTK if you hit exclusively body shots. Then there's the 150RPM archetype that seem like they have a good optimal TTK at 0.80s...……..until you realise that missing a single headshot increases the TTK by [b]50%[/b] and they take flinch [i]really, really badly[/i]. For exclusively body shots, they're the slowest killing primary, that isn't a Bow, by a significant distance. Lastly, there's the forgotten 260RPM archetype, which has one representative post-Forsaken - Black Scorpion 4sr - that has a terrible perk pool, with entries such as Grave Robber, Hip-Fire Grip and Rangefinder (not a bad perk but detrimental on Scout Rifles) and all-round bad stats. Fix Scout Rifles, changing the MIDA Catalyst can be taken from there. My suggestion would be to replace it with Moving Target, an underrated perk that fits the movement and strafe game MIDA opens up.

3 RepliesMida catalyst needs to come from Comp wins past Fabled instead of being a random drop in Legend. Like honestly. I would even settle for Mythic. As far as the actual catalyst goes how about we give it Luck in the Chamber or a perk similar to that?

Yeah mida doesnt need to be a legend in glory reward not forgotten is for those people plz make mida catalyst drop from a comp match completion im farm the heck out it plz bungie its not fair to hold a catalyst from 90 percent of the playerbase

2 RepliesLegend rank for an Outlaw catalyst on Mida? Here I was thinking the HCR not working, and the crazy flinch you receive from any damage while using it was bad enough... I've been using it a lot lately, and it is like the HCR perk on that weapon makes it so you flinch instead of them. I'm mostly joking, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Really all that mida needs is it's thing catalyst to cause autofire. It's one of the few scout rifles that is always on target meaning you can fire it at max fire rate without it flying all over the place...
