Destiny 2: Limited Edition keys still work and region locked?
Hi,
So I'd like to purchase the Limited Edition (PC) set of Destiny 2 off Amazon (or locally). But I'd like to know if the keys for the product would still be active and if so, the chance they are region locked? I live in South Africa, so I believe that's region 5 Middle East/Africa, but I'm hoping the keys are Global (which would make sense).
tl;dr - Do the keys work and can I activate them Globally?

4 RepliesEdited by ADragonWithin: 4/29/2019 12:42:56 PMYou'll need to contact Blizzard to ask them if their Destiny 2 keys are region locked (past experience says that their WoW keys are region locked, so their D2 keys may be as well), and if so, what regions are available for your purchase. Based on the fact you're wanting to order off of Amazon.com and not Amazon.za or some such, if the codes are region locked, then your code won't be usable without you using a NA Blizzard Battle.net ID. You'll need to contact the seller you're wanting to buy from and ask them if their keys are expired.
